Painted to resemble blue-and-white porcelain, the AK-47 | Inheritance shows its wear openly in Well-Worn (WW). Its float band is 0.38 to 0.45, only 9% of a scale that runs to 0.80. The rank is Covert, the skin drops from the Kilowatt Case, and it comes in all five wears.
What the AK-47 | Inheritance looks like in Well-Worn
The handguard, the upper handguard cover, the receiver cover and the stock are cream-white, carrying a blue floral ornament. The magazine and pistol grip are blue with a gold pattern. The front sight post and gas block are blue too. Gold also lies on the bottom of the magazine and as a narrow line along the edges of the white parts.
In Well-Worn the gold line along the edges breaks up, and gray scuffs show on the white planes near the corners of the stock and the edge of the handguard. The painted work on the sides is untouched and can be followed end to end. The wear was set by the float at the drop and does not change afterward.
Where the AK-47 | Inheritance came from
The Kilowatt Collection shipped on February 6, 2024, and the rifle has been in it from the start. Valve described that release as a case of seventeen finishes by community artists, with the Kukri Knife as its rare item.
Endrit is the artist. His Steam Workshop entry "Ak-47 | Inheritance | CS2" went up on December 23, 2018. In a single line he credited traditional Chinese porcelain and Delft blauw painting as his source. Valve's item description adds a "family heirloom" handed down from generation to generation. The finish is number 1171 in Valve's catalog.
What to check before buying
Two checks before paying for an AK-47 | Inheritance:
- the float: the 0.38 to 0.45 band is narrow, and listings inside it barely differ;
- the name tag and stickers this AK-47 | Inheritance already carries.
There is no choosing by pattern on the AK-47 | Inheritance as such. In this wear the skin is a tight 0.38 to 0.45 band where the difference between listings is hard to catch.
What the AK-47 | Inheritance costs in Well-Worn
On this skin Well-Worn costs slightly more than Field-Tested, by about a tenth, and Battle-Scarred is a quarter cheaper than Well-Worn. The steps going up are bigger: Minimal Wear costs about two fifths more, and Factory New two and a half times as much.
Among the Covert AK-47 skins in this wear, it falls into the bottom quarter of the rank. Five skins sit below it. They are the AK-47 | Aphrodite and the AK-47 | Head Shot. Next come the AK-47 | Aquamarine Revenge, the AK-47 | Legion of Anubis and the AK-47 | The Oligarch. The AK-47 | Asiimov costs about a fifth more. The top of the rank belongs to the AK-47 | Fire Serpent, the AK-47 | Gold Arabesque and the AK-47 | Wild Lotus.
Getting the AK-47 | Inheritance
The main route is the Kilowatt Case. A contract for the AK-47 | Inheritance takes ten skins from the rank below within the same collection. The collection holds three Classified skins and two Covert ones, so the odds of landing this rifle are one in two.
From there the skin can go into a knife craft. The collection has a single rare special item, the Kukri Knife, so the model is known in advance.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The AK-47 | Inheritance comes in a StatTrak version. Souvenir copies also exist, though no souvenir packages were ever issued for it: those were made only for the tournament map collections. Those copies come from the Souvenir-O-Matic, which applies gold tournament stickers and a player autograph to an ordinary skin taken from the inventory.
Stickers and craft on the AK-47 | Inheritance
The white planes of the stock and handguard remain the main spot for a sticker. Dark stickers read well on them, blue ones merge into the ornament, and white ones get lost.
Who this wear suits
Buying the AK-47 | Inheritance in Well-Worn makes sense if:
- you want a Covert rifle with porcelain painting for a quarter less than Minimal Wear;
- the gold line along the edges is optional, since in this wear it is already broken;
- you buy by float within 0.38 to 0.45, and the difference inside the band does not matter.
Field-Tested of this skin is cheaper and cleaner, so that is the wear to compare Well-Worn against.
