What the AK-47 | Neon Revolution looks like in Factory New

ANARCHY is spelled out in acid green on the top cover, graffiti with drips, as if from a spray can. The same green makes the runs at the muzzle, the bottom of the grip and the lower edge of the magazine, with splatter scattered along the gas tube.

Everything else is flooded with bright pink, close to fuchsia: handguard, cover, receiver, magazine and stock. The paint is laid on carelessly, in vertical drips, and rust-brown wood shows through in places. The underside of the receiver stays dark gray, and the barrel and gas block are dark.

In Factory New (FN) the top of the cover, the ribs of the magazine and the corners of the stock are covered with paint completely. That is exactly where the pink goes first, and on the lower wears dark wood comes out from under it. The green letters keep their outline over the full height, thin tails of the drips included.

Where the AK-47 | Neon Revolution came from

The finish was drawn by an artist who goes by Coridium. The submission, titled "AK47 - ANARCHY", appeared in the Steam Workshop on March 16, 2015, and the lettering on the cover came to the finish from there.

The author named the client in the description himself. One Game Agency, which runs the Gamersbook community, commissioned from him a second weapon set for the promo of the CounterPit League Season One tournament.

The AK-47 | Neon Revolution appeared in the game on August 18, 2016, a year and a half after the submission, together with the Gamma 2 set. In Valve's catalog of finishes it is number 600.

What to check before buying

StatTrak and Souvenir

The AK-47 | Neon Revolution has a StatTrak version. No Souvenir packages were ever issued for this finish: they were made only for the tournament map collections. That is why the odd Souvenir copy turns up now and then even where no such packages ever existed.

The background of this finish is ragged: the drips run vertically and break up any rectangular frame, so stickers without a backing of their own sit more evenly. On color, dark and contrasting ones win: on an acid base they don't sink the way light pink and lime ones do. The cover with the lettering is the main subject, and it should not be covered with a sticker.
