The AK-47 | Nightwish in Battle-Scarred (BS) is the far end of the wear scale, where the neon artwork covers the body almost completely. Floats here run from 0.45 to 1.00. It is a Covert skin from the Dreams & Nightmares Case. In CS2 you can get the AK-47 | Nightwish in any wear, from Factory New to Battle-Scarred.
What the AK-47 | Nightwish looks like in Battle-Scarred
The base is dark purple, with spirals and curls in neon colors running over it: pink, yellow and light blue. They lie on the handguard, the magazine, the stock and the receiver. In the center of the receiver is a light blue animal head with pink details.
Valve describes the finish as a deer and dream catchers in neon colors, with a pearlescent effect on top. The artwork is dense and busy, so the scuffs of Battle-Scarred read more weakly on it than on plain skins. Wear is determined at the drop and stays the same for good.
Where the AK-47 | Nightwish came from
The finish's author is Nextgenz. The work reached the Steam Workshop on October 12, 2021, under the title "AK-47 | Nightwish [Pearlescent]". Valve's note on the Dreams & Nightmares Case says seventeen finishes selected from the Workshop went into it. The Dreams & Nightmares Collection with this skin came out on January 21, 2022; the AK-47 | Nightwish arrived in the same update. In Valve's catalog the finish is number 1141.
What to check before buying
On a listing of the AK-47 | Nightwish, two things count:
- float: the 0.45 to 1.00 band takes 55% of the skin's float scale, and scuffs are much stronger near its upper edge;
- any stickers on the body, and a name tag if one is fitted.
There is no pattern variance on the AK-47 | Nightwish: what is on one listing is on all the others. You can buy it in this wear at very different amounts of wear, since the 0.45 to 1.00 band is wide, so look at the number, not the label.
What the AK-47 | Nightwish costs in Battle-Scarred
The other wears relative to Battle-Scarred:
- Factory New costs 1.79 times as much;
- Minimal Wear costs 1.20 times as much;
- Field-Tested costs 1.15 times as much;
- Well-Worn costs 1.12 times as much.
The three wears above the lowest sit a tenth to a fifth over it, and the factory one nearly double. Among Covert AK-47 skins in this wear, the finish sits closer to the bottom third: nine skins are cheaper, thirteen are more expensive. The nearest above are the AK-47 | Leet Museo and the AK-47 | Consequence of the Jinn. Below come the AK-47 | Neon Rider and the AK-47 | Asiimov, and the AK-47 | Aphrodite is cheaper still.
Getting the AK-47 | Nightwish
The AK-47 | Nightwish can drop from the Dreams & Nightmares Case. No other case holds this finish.
A contract yields it as well: ten skins of the rank below from one set. Dual Berettas | Melondrama, FAMAS | Rapid Eye Movement and MP7 | Abyssal Apparition work as inputs. The collection has two Covert skins, so the rifle is the result one time in two. The rifle also goes into a craft: five Covert skins of one collection give a random knife.
StatTrak and Souvenir
A StatTrak version of the AK-47 | Nightwish was released. Souvenir packages never existed for the finish. You can still assemble a Souvenir copy yourself, because the Souvenir-O-Matic fits gold tournament stickers and a player autograph to any ordinary skin you own.
Stickers and craft on the AK-47 | Nightwish
Neon curls cover nearly the whole surface, and the body has few calm areas. Stickers on that background show only if they are dense and sharply outlined. Pink, yellow and light blue stickers repeat the colors of the spirals, while white and black ones give contrast.
Who this wear suits
Battle-Scarred is worth buying for the AK-47 | Nightwish in these cases:
- you need the lowest price among this skin's wears and clean edges do not matter;
- you take the skin for CS2, where wear does not affect shooting;
- a float near the top of the band is fine: on a busy background the scuffs read weakly.
