The AK-47 | Nightwish in Factory New (FN) is a neon design on a dark base without a single scuff. Floats here span 0.00 to 0.07. It is a Covert skin in the Dreams & Nightmares Collection, and in CS2 it exists in all five wears.
What the AK-47 | Nightwish looks like in Factory New
Spirals in pink, yellow and light blue lie on a dark purple ground. The curls fan out from the receiver across the handguard, the magazine and the stock. A light blue animal head sits in the center of the receiver, and in Factory New its outline is not broken by a single scratch.
By Valve's description the rifle is painted with a deer and dream catchers in neon colors, with a pearlescent effect. The spirals lie tightly, with almost no empty background between them. At this wear the artwork shows as its author meant it: wear in the 0.00 to 0.07 band is only beginning.
Where the AK-47 | Nightwish came from
The designer is Nextgenz. In the Steam Workshop submission the finish was titled "AK-47 | Nightwish [Pearlescent]", and the pearlescent stayed in Valve's description. The Dreams & Nightmares Collection went into the game on January 21, 2022, and the AK-47 | Nightwish was there from day one.
What to check before buying
When choosing an AK-47 | Nightwish, pay attention to the following:
- float within 0.00 to 0.07: the closer to zero, the cleaner the edges;
- any stickers and name tag the rifle already carries.
The pattern is the same on every listing. The wear is a narrow band, and copies barely differ from one another: it takes up 7% of the skin's float scale.
What the AK-47 | Nightwish costs in Factory New
Factory New is the most expensive of the five wears. The others are cheaper by these factors:
- Minimal Wear by 1.49 times;
- Field-Tested by 1.56 times;
- Well-Worn by 1.60 times;
- Battle-Scarred by 1.79 times.
The three lowest wears differ from one another by a few percent, while reaching the factory grade takes a bigger top-up. Among Covert AK-47 skins in Factory New this one is among the three cheapest: only the AK-47 | Legion of Anubis and the AK-47 | Head Shot cost less. The nearest above, the AK-47 | Inheritance, costs almost the same. After it come the AK-47 | Bloodsport and the AK-47 | Aquamarine Revenge. The top of the rank is held by the AK-47 | Gold Arabesque, the AK-47 | Fire Serpent and the AK-47 | Wild Lotus.
Getting the AK-47 | Nightwish
The skin's source is the Dreams & Nightmares Case; no other case holds this finish.
The alternative to buying is a trade-up: ten skins of the rank below from the same set give the AK-47 | Nightwish. The odds of landing on this rifle are one in two, since the collection has two Covert skins.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The AK-47 | Nightwish is made in a StatTrak version. The finish never had Souvenir packages. You can put together a Souvenir copy yourself in the Souvenir-O-Matic, which adds gold tournament stickers and a player autograph to an ordinary skin from the inventory.
Stickers and craft on the AK-47 | Nightwish
A clean artwork with almost no gaps leaves no neutral spot for a sticker. A sticker either sits over the neon curls or covers the head on the receiver. Dense stickers with a dark outline hold their shape, and small lettering gets lost in the spirals.
Who this wear suits
Factory New is the right pick for the AK-47 | Nightwish if:
- you want untouched neon on every edge and the outline of the head without scratches;
- the skin is going into a CS2 inventory to be inspected rather than used daily;
- paying 1.5 to 1.8 times the price of the lower wears does not bother you.
For play in CS2 the factory look adds nothing: wear does not affect shooting.
