AK-47 | Nightwish (Well-Worn)

The AK-47 | Nightwish in Well-Worn (WW) is the fourth of five wears, a short stretch before Battle-Scarred. Float values here run from 0.38 to 0.45. Its rank is Covert, and it belongs to the Dreams & Nightmares Collection. For CS2 the skin exists in all five wears.

What the AK-47 | Nightwish looks like in Well-Worn

A dark purple body is covered in neon spirals: pink, yellow and light blue. The artwork runs from the stock to the handguard. In the middle of the receiver sits a light blue animal head with pink inserts around it.

In the Steam Workshop the finish was called "Nightwish [Pearlescent]", while Valve's description speaks of a deer and dream catchers. Wear is already visible in Well-Worn, but the neon covers nearly the whole area, and a busy background hides it better than a plain one would. The wear was set at the drop and does not grow with time.

Where the AK-47 | Nightwish came from

Nextgenz drew the skin. Valve released the Dreams & Nightmares Case with seventeen weapon finishes chosen from the Steam Workshop. The Dreams & Nightmares Collection came out on January 21, 2022, and the AK-47 | Nightwish has been in the set since release. Valve's catalog number for the finish is 1141.

What to check before buying

What to compare when choosing an AK-47 | Nightwish:

• float: the 0.38 to 0.45 band takes 7% of the scale, and the extreme listings differ only in the number;


• stickers and a name tag left on the rifle by the previous owner.

The artwork is the same on all copies, and there are no rare ones. There is almost nothing to choose by float, since the 0.38 to 0.45 stretch is short.

What the AK-47 | Nightwish costs in Well-Worn

Relative to Well-Worn, the neighboring wears cost:

• Factory New, 1.60 times as much;


• Minimal Wear, 1.07 times as much;


• Field-Tested, almost the same, with a difference under three percent;


• Battle-Scarred, 1.12 times less.

The three wears from Minimal Wear to Battle-Scarred sit in a narrow price corridor, while the clean factory look stands apart. Among Covert AK-47 skins, the finish in Well-Worn is slightly below the middle of the row: eight skins are cheaper, fifteen are more expensive. Getting the AK-47 | Nightwish

The skin is in the Dreams & Nightmares Case, and no other case has this finish.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The AK-47 | Nightwish exists in a StatTrak version. There were no Souvenir packages with this finish; a Souvenir copy is built independently through the Souvenir-O-Matic, which adds gold tournament stickers and a player autograph to an ordinary skin from the inventory.

Stickers and craft on the AK-47 | Nightwish

The finish is variegated, and a large sticker almost always lands over the curls. Dense stickers with a dark outline and light holographic ones stay readable. Small graphics dissolve, while the scuffs of Well-Worn do not compete with the artwork against that background.

Who this wear suits

Well-Worn makes sense for the AK-47 | Nightwish when:

• you want a neon AK priced below Minimal Wear, with no float to choose;


• an intact design matters more than clean edges;


• the skin is for play in CS2, not for display.
