The AK-47 | Olive Polycam in Factory New (FN): the cleanest paint this rifle has. Factory New on the skin covers floats from 0.00 to 0.07, which is 14% of the skin's scale, and that scale runs only to 0.50. The rank is Industrial Grade, the collection is the Sport & Field Collection, and the skin has no case.
What the AK-47 | Olive Polycam looks like in Factory New
The paint comes in two kinds. The handguard, the upper cover over the barrel and the pistol grip are filled with a flat olive green and carry no pattern. The receiver, stock and magazine wear angular camo: gray-brown triangular patches with a grainy, bright yellow-green fill laid over them. Valve calls this pattern a green-gray halftone.
In Factory New the paint is untouched. The camo on the receiver and stock reads in full, and the olive fields of the handguard and grip are even. Wear is fixed at the drop, so a copy with a 0.02 float will look just like this and gain no scuffs with time.
Where the AK-47 | Olive Polycam came from
Valve drew the AK-47 | Olive Polycam itself, and there is no Steam Workshop submission for this skin. It appeared in October 2024 together with the Sport & Field Collection. Valve's catalog number for it is 1179.
What to check before buying
The points that count when choosing a listing:
- float: the camo is cleanest at the lower edge, 0.00;
- a name tag and stickers, which stay with the listing;
- a Souvenir prefix in the name: a Souvenir copy is a separate product with its own price.
Inside 0.00 to 0.07 no copy is better than another, so there is nothing to hunt for.
What the AK-47 | Olive Polycam costs in Factory New
Factory New is the most expensive wear of this skin. The others are cheaper by these factors:
- Minimal Wear, about 1.4;
- Well-Worn, about 1.6;
- Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred, about 1.7.
Among Industrial Grade AK-47 skins, the Olive Polycam in this wear is the cheapest of five. AK-47 | VariCamo Grey is nearest to it, AK-47 | African Grid comes next, and AK-47 | Baroque Purple and AK-47 | Jungle Spray cost noticeably more.
Getting the AK-47 | Olive Polycam
The skin does not drop from cases, and a contract cannot return it: Industrial Grade is the lowest rank of the Sport & Field Collection, and nothing sits below it. Ten of these skins do trade up into one Mil-Spec skin, though: Nova | Yorkshire, P250 | Small Game, SSG 08 | Zeno or USP-S | Alpine Camo. A finished listing can be bought on LIS-SKINS.
StatTrak and Souvenir
There is no StatTrak version of the AK-47 | Olive Polycam. Souvenir copies exist all the same. Packages were never made for this skin, since they covered only tournament map collections. Anyone can still build a copy with the Souvenir-O-Matic, which adds gold tournament stickers and a player autograph to a regular skin.
Stickers and craft on the AK-47 | Olive Polycam
The olive handguard and grip are flat fields with no pattern, while the busy camo sits on the receiver, stock and magazine. A sticker reads brighter on the flat olive than on the angular patches. Lime stickers echo the yellow-green fill, and dark ones get lost in the gray-brown patches.
Who this wear suits
Factory New is the right buy given inputs like these:
- you want an AK for CS2 with untouched camo;
- a float near the low end of the skin's scale matters to you;
- you are building an olive-green loadout for CS2 where the paint should be whole.
If only price matters, the skin is 1.4 to 1.7 times cheaper lower on the scale, but the paint there is already scuffed.
