Description

The AK-47 | The Oligarch in Well-Worn (WW) is a Covert rifle from The Genesis Collection with a short float segment and a price between Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. This wear is allotted a float of 0.38 to 0.45, which is only 7% of the finish's scale.

What the AK-47 | The Oligarch looks like in Well-Worn

By Valve's description, the finish repeats the look and texture of a luxurious puffer jacket in white and black, trimmed with gold. On a weapon the paint reads as a material, and it uses three colors: white, black and gold.

Choosing among copies by float barely makes sense, because the 0.38 to 0.45 segment is short. The scuffs of Well-Worn are already noticeable, and the wear is set at drop: it does not change in the seller's hands or the buyer's.

Where the AK-47 | The Oligarch came from

The AK-47 | The Oligarch appeared on September 16, 2025, when The Genesis Collection was added to the game. The author, Strenson, had the submission on the Steam Workshop from November 12, 2024, under the title "AK-47 | Puffer V1", so about ten months passed between submission and release.

Among the collection's Covert skins, the finish has one partner: M4A4 | Full Throttle. Valve released the whole collection as a set of seventeen finishes by community authors.

What to check before buying

Before buying an AK-47 | The Oligarch, look at the following:

  • the listing type, regular or StatTrak;

  • the stickers and name tag this rifle has already picked up;

  • float: it sits between 0.38 and 0.45, so listings differ by hundredths.

The artwork on the AK-47 | The Oligarch is applied identically across the entire run.

What the AK-47 | The Oligarch costs in Well-Worn

The neighboring wears price out against this one as follows:

  • Battle-Scarred is cheaper by about an eighth;

  • Field-Tested costs about a third more;

  • Minimal Wear sits almost three times higher;

  • Factory New costs almost seven times as much.

Of the twenty-four Covert AK-47s, this wear stands fifth from the bottom. AK-47 | Aphrodite, AK-47 | Head Shot, AK-47 | Aquamarine Revenge and AK-47 | Legion of Anubis are cheaper, while AK-47 | Inheritance and AK-47 | Asiimov come above. The top of the row is AK-47 | Wild Lotus.

Getting the AK-47 | The Oligarch

The skin sits in the Sealed Genesis Terminal and is in no other case.

To trade up into the AK-47 | The Oligarch, you need ten skins of the rank below from this collection. It has three Classified finishes: AWP | Ice Coaled, Glock-18 | Mirror Mosaic and MP7 | Smoking Kills. The result of the contract splits evenly between this AK-47 and M4A4 | Full Throttle.

StatTrak and Souvenir

Stickers and craft on the AK-47 | The Oligarch

The AK-47 | The Oligarch has a StatTrak version. No Souvenir packages were ever released for this finish: they existed only for tournament map collections. You can still build a Souvenir copy yourself, though. The Souvenir-O-Matic puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on an ordinary skin from your inventory. That is why a stray Souvenir copy turns up now and then even where no packages ever existed.

For a craft in CS2, stickers are chosen by the three colors in Valve's description: white, black and gold. A dark sticker reads on the white sections and a light one on the black, but a gold one merges with the gold accents and gives no contrast.

Who this wear suits

An AK-47 | The Oligarch in Well-Worn is the right buy if at least one of these fits:

  • you need a price above Battle-Scarred but clearly below Field-Tested;

  • float is secondary, and the short band spares you a long search through listings;

  • you want a Covert AK-47 for the Terrorist side in CS2, and you like the puffer jacket on a weapon for its own sake.

Battle-Scarred is cheaper, but its band starts at 0.45 and runs all the way to 1, so listings with that wear name look different from one another.
