AK-47 | Uncharted (Factory New)

The AK-47 | Uncharted in Factory New (FN) takes the float band 0.00 to 0.07, which is 9 percent of the skin's scale. It is a Mil-Spec skin from The Prisma Collection for the Terrorist side in CS2: a rifle in brown-sand tones with a dark ornament.

What the AK-47 | Uncharted looks like in Factory New

The base is warm, brown and sandy. The ornament is dark brown, nearly black, built from curls, stylized mask faces and spirals. It covers the side of the receiver, the handguard and the stock, and the top of the dust cover is left lighter.

The barrel, gas tube and magazine stay dark metal, and bare metal takes up about half the gun. There is no lettering.

Factory New shows the whole drawing, fine curls on the raised parts included. In lower wears the sand base grays at the edges first, and the fine curls disappear sooner than the large patches. Wear is fixed when the skin drops.

Where the AK-47 | Uncharted came from

The skin was drawn by apel8. It was released on March 13, 2019, and Valve's catalog lists it under number 836. It belongs to the Prisma Case and The Prisma Collection. Valve describes it as a custom paint job with different tribal patterns. The caption reads "We share the same canoe".

What to check before buying

Before paying for the AK-47 | Uncharted, look at these things:

• the float: the 0.00 to 0.07 band is short, and the sand base is equally intact on every listing;

• the pattern index changes nothing, as the drawing is the same on every copy;

• stickers and a name tag already fitted to this copy.

What the AK-47 | Uncharted costs in Factory New

This is the most expensive wear of the skin. Minimal Wear is cheaper by a factor of 2.20, Well-Worn by 2.33, Field-Tested by 3.08 and Battle-Scarred by 3.14.

Among Mil-Spec skins for the AK-47, it is the cheapest in this wear. The AK-47 | Crossfade and AK-47 | Wintergreen cost about twice as much, the AK-47 | Elite Build almost four times and the AK-47 | Steel Delta five times. The AK-47 | Green Laminate stands more than twenty times higher, and the AK-47 | Black Laminate is on another level.

Getting the AK-47 | Uncharted

The skin drops from the Prisma Case. A trade-up will not produce it, because nothing sits below it in the collection.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The skin has a StatTrak™ version and no Souvenir version.

Stickers and craft on the AK-47 | Uncharted

The dark ornament fills the handguard and stock, so stickers go better on the light dust cover, where the background is calmer. Warm beige and gold stickers merge with the base, while white and cool ones stand out.

Who this wear suits

The AK-47 | Uncharted in Factory New makes sense if:

• you want an AK-47 with ornament and masks and no graying edges;

• the top float band, 0.00 to 0.07, matters to you;

• you want the StatTrak™ version, which this skin has.
