AK-47 | Uncharted (Minimal Wear)

The AK-47 | Uncharted in Minimal Wear (MW) takes the float band 0.07 to 0.15, and the dark tribal ornament still reads cleanly. It is a Mil-Spec skin from The Prisma Collection and drops from the Prisma Case. In this wear it is the cheapest of the rifles of its rank.

What the AK-47 | Uncharted looks like in Minimal Wear

The ground is warm, a brown-tinted sand. Over it runs an ornament of dark brown, almost black: curls, spirals and stylized mask faces. It covers the side of the receiver, the handguard and the stock, while the top of the dust cover is left lighter. There is no lettering.

The barrel, gas tube and magazine are dark metal, and bare metal takes up about half the gun. Wear is fixed when the skin drops. In Minimal Wear the sand ground begins to gray along the edges, but the fine curls on the raised parts are still in place.

Where the AK-47 | Uncharted came from

The author is apel8. The skin entered the game in March 2019 together with The Prisma Collection. Valve's catalog lists it under number 836.

What to check before buying

Copies of the AK-47 | Uncharted differ in only two respects:

• the float: this wear lies between 0.07 and 0.15;


• the name tag and stickers, which go with the copy.

The pattern is fixed, and price does not depend on it. Inside 0.07 to 0.15 there is no best copy to hunt for.

What the AK-47 | Uncharted costs in Minimal Wear

The wear scale of this skin is cut off at 0.75, and the price steps do not follow the order of wear:

• Factory New (FN) costs more than twice as much;


• Field-Tested (FT) is cheaper by a little less than one and a half times;


• Well-Worn (WW) is cheaper by only a few percent;


• Battle-Scarred (BS) is cheaper by one and a half times.

Of the seven Mil-Spec AK-47s, the Uncharted in Minimal Wear is the cheapest. The AK-47 | Wintergreen costs almost twice as much. The AK-47 | Steel Delta, AK-47 | Crossfade and AK-47 | Elite Build cost more than three times as much. At the top stand the AK-47 | Green Laminate and AK-47 | Black Laminate.

Getting the AK-47 | Uncharted

The skin drops from the Prisma Case. A trade-up cannot produce it, because nothing sits below it in the collection. The skin itself, though, is used as an input toward the Restricted rank.

The AK-47 | Uncharted has a StatTrak™ version. No Souvenir packages hold it, but a souvenir copy can be made through the Souvenir-O-Matic.

Stickers and craft on the AK-47 | Uncharted

The ornament covers the handguard and stock, so a small sticker sinks into the curls. Warm orange and gold logos read on the brown ground, and blue ones merge with the dark masks. The dark metal of the magazine and barrel offers clean spots.

Who this wear suits

Take the AK-47 | Uncharted in Minimal Wear if at least one of these fits:

• you want an AK-47 for CS2 in a calm brown palette at the lowest price in its row;


• you want the ornament without gray edges, and Factory New costs more than twice as much;


• you are building a craft in warm tones.
