AK-47 | VariCamo Grey (Battle-Scarred)

The Battle-Scarred (BS) AK-47 | VariCamo Grey is a CS2 camo rifle with the heaviest wear of the skin's five wears. It is Industrial Grade, released in The Boreal Collection, and no case contains it.

What the AK-47 | VariCamo Grey looks like in Battle-Scarred

The camo is gray-olive: dark gray, olive and pale patches cover the handguard, receiver, stock and grip. The magazine is ribbed with light lengthwise stripes, the front sight is olive, and the barrel is dark. The mottled pattern leaves no smooth planes, so scratches and worn paint merge into it.

Floats in this wear run from 0.45 to 0.67. The skin's scale is cut off at 0.67 and does not reach 1.00, so Battle-Scarred takes 33% of it. Wear is fixed at drop: a listing stays as it dropped.

Where the AK-47 | VariCamo Grey came from

The skin appeared on March 31, 2025, when The Boreal Collection was added to the game. The data do not name the author of the finish.

What to check before buying

Two things to establish in a listing:

• the float, from 0.45 to 0.67: on a long band the difference between the two ends shows on the skin itself;

• a name tag or stickers the previous owner left on it.

The AK-47 | VariCamo Grey has the same artwork on all copies, and there are no rare examples. In this wear the band is a long 0.45 to 0.67, so comparing several listings makes sense.

What the AK-47 | VariCamo Grey costs in Battle-Scarred

The skin's other wears, relative to Battle-Scarred:

• Factory New is pricier by almost one and a half times;

• Minimal Wear is cheaper by only a few percent;

• Field-Tested is level;

• Well-Worn is cheaper by about a tenth.

The worst wear does not make the skin the cheapest here: Well-Worn is lower. Among Industrial Grade AK-47 skins, the AK-47 | VariCamo Grey in Battle-Scarred costs more than the AK-47 | Olive Polycam and the AK-47 | Safari Mesh. The AK-47 | Baroque Purple costs seventeen times as much, the AK-47 | Jungle Spray twenty-two.

Getting the AK-47 | VariCamo Grey

No case drops the AK-47 | VariCamo Grey. The Boreal Collection is listed in the weekly reward for playing time.

The second route is a trade-up: ten skins from the rank below, from the same set. One of nine Industrial Grade skins comes out, and the probability for this skin is one in nine.

StatTrak and Souvenir

There is no StatTrak edition of the AK-47 | VariCamo Grey. Souvenir copies exist, but not because of any Souvenir packages for this finish; those covered only the tournament map collections. A copy is made through the Souvenir-O-Matic, which adds gold tournament stickers and a player autograph to an ordinary skin from the inventory.

Stickers and craft on the AK-47 | VariCamo Grey

Gray-olive patches fill the whole surface, so a sticker reads by contrast: white, red and yellow ones show, while gray and dark green ones vanish. Worn paint hardly interferes, since the pattern is uneven anyway.

Who this wear suits

Battle-Scarred suits you in these cases:

• you want a camo AK for CS2 with maximum wear, where the patches hide the scuffs;

• the price is close to Field-Tested and clean paint does not matter;

• you need a high-float listing from the 0.45 to 0.67 band, for a trade-up, say.
