AK-47 | Wild Lotus (Field-Tested)

The AK-47 | Wild Lotus in Field-Tested is the working middle of the scale: the painting on the receiver sides is whole, the edges have started to go. The AK-47 | Wild Lotus in this wear spans 0.15 to 0.38. Field-Tested (FT) is 23 percent of the 0.00–1.00 scale. The rank is Covert; the set is the St. Marc collection.

What the AK-47 | Wild Lotus looks like in Field-Tested

Emerald green is the ground, with darker layers of leaves and large blooms in red and crimson-pink. A peach-beige line runs under the handguard, around the magazine well and over the grip. The stock carries one red flower; the gas tube ring and trigger are brass.

Paint covers everything but the dark brown barrel and the front sight. The largest bloom, red with a pale spiky center, sits at the back of the receiver. A lotus is not what the render shows: the flowers read closer to passionflower and peony. Valve's text still claims "an orange lotus" hand painted over a green base.

By Field-Tested the wear has reached the thin work. The peach line breaks in places, the fine stems on the magazine spine rub through to light metal, the green dulls at the corners. The blooms on the flat sides come through untouched. Buying the AK-47 | Wild Lotus here means picking a point in 0.15–0.38, and the ends differ.

Where the AK-47 | Wild Lotus came from

The AK-47 | Wild Lotus came out of Valve rather than the Steam Workshop. The AK-47 | Wild Lotus shipped on November 19, 2019 as part of the St. Marc collection. The Operation Shattered Web note listed that set among four new weapon collections earned by playing. Valve numbers the finish 724.

What to check before buying

Worth checking on any AK-47 | Wild Lotus copy before you pay:

• the float, since 0.15 leaves the edges nearly even;

• the peach line, which breaks up toward the top of the band;

• Whatever sits on the AK-47 | Wild Lotus already: stickers, and a name tag if applied.

No AK-47 | Wild Lotus copy is rarer than another by pattern — the layout never shifts.

What the AK-47 | Wild Lotus costs in Field-Tested

Against the neighboring wears:

• Factory New nearly double;

• Minimal Wear about a third above;

• Well-Worn roughly a quarter below;

• Battle-Scarred not far off half.

No Covert AK-47 in this wear is priced above it, across all twenty-four. AK-47 | Gold Arabesque, second in the rank, costs about a sixth as much; AK-47 | Fire Serpent about an eleventh. AK-47 | Aphrodite, cheapest in the rank, is further off still.

Getting the AK-47 | Wild Lotus

No case in CS2 contains the AK-47 | Wild Lotus. The St. Marc collection was earned during an operation, which is how copies entered play. Besides buying, the AK-47 | Wild Lotus comes from a contract fed by ten skins a tier below this collection.

StatTrak and Souvenir

Stickers and craft on the AK-47 | Wild Lotus

No StatTrak version of the AK-47 | Wild Lotus was ever released, and no Souvenir packages were made for this finish either: packages only ever covered tournament map collections. A souvenir copy can still be built by hand. The Souvenir-O-Matic puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on a normal skin from the inventory. That is why the odd souvenir copy turns up where no package was ever made.

There is no clean field: paint runs over every panel. Small pale logos hold up best, with room on the magazine. Red and pink stickers disappear into the blooms, and on a rubbed edge a sticker goes with the paint under it.

Who this wear suits

This wear of the AK-47 | Wild Lotus earns its price if:

• the green rifle is wanted in play;

• the float number is worth your attention;

• untouched edges are not what you are paying for.

Below 0.20 the edges pass for Minimal Wear; at 0.38 the peach line is broken in places.
