AUG | Eye of Zapems (Field-Tested)

The AUG | Eye of Zapems in Field-Tested (FT) is a candy-bright paint job, with swirls running over the whole rifle. It is a Restricted skin from The Overpass 2024 Collection, made for the Counter-Terrorist side. In this wear the float runs from 0.15 up to 0.38.

What the AUG | Eye of Zapems looks like in Field-Tested

This is a loud, busy finish. Wide swirls and smears flow over the body and blend into a patchwork kaleidoscope of orange, pink, mint green, white and light blue. Mint green with silver covers the scope housing. The magazine is orange with a yellow grid and a lime-green base, and the barrel is pale pink and turquoise.

The paint leaves no bare spots: barrel, receiver, grip, magazine and scope are all covered. The most saturated orange-pink clusters sit on the middle of the receiver and by the stock, while the underside and the front end are lighter. You can pick out rounded curls and drops, some with a dark outline, and a regular yellow lattice on the magazine. There is no readable lettering, although Valve describes it as graffiti by Zapems, a street artist from Overpass.

In this wear the colored layer is rubbed off along the edges of the receiver and the rail, and gray plastic shows through. Wear depends on float and does not change after the drop.

Where the AUG | Eye of Zapems came from

The Overpass 2024 Collection, with this skin in it, came out in October 2024. The AUG | Eye of Zapems arrived in the same update. It has no case and comes from the Budapest 2025 Overpass souvenir package.

What to check before buying

Before paying, compare these points:

• float: across the 0.15 to 0.38 band the colored layer is worn differently, and higher-float listings show more gray plastic;


• any name tag or stickers already on this AUG | Eye of Zapems;


• the edges of the receiver and rail, where the colored layer goes first.

There is no choosing by pattern on the AUG | Eye of Zapems at all.

What the AUG | Eye of Zapems costs in Field-Tested

Factory New costs three and a half times what this wear does, and Minimal Wear twice as much. Well-Worn is a fifth higher, and Battle-Scarred a fifth lower.

Among the eight Restricted AUGs priced in this wear, the skin sits in the middle: three are cheaper and four are dearer. AUG | Arctic Wolf is level with it, while AUG | Aristocrat and AUG | Random Access sit lower. AUG | Lapis Lazuli and AUG | Torque are above. At the top are AUG | Sand Storm and AUG | Midnight Lily, about ten times and more than a hundred times as expensive.

The skin has no other cases, and the only souvenir package is Budapest 2025 Overpass. Ten skins one rank below, from the same collection, can be traded up into the AUG | Eye of Zapems.

StatTrak and Souvenir

There is no StatTrak version of this skin. A Souvenir version exists.

Stickers and craft on the AUG | Eye of Zapems

The paint covers the whole body, so there are almost no flat spots for a sticker. The calmer areas work best: the lighter underside and the front end. White and black stickers read well on the busy field, while multicolor ones get lost in the swirls.

Who this wear suits

Buying the AUG | Eye of Zapems here, in Field-Tested, makes sense if:

• you want a bright AUG for CS2 at a price several times below Factory New;


• the worn edges of the colored layer do not bother you;


• you are ready to compare several listings in the 0.15 to 0.38 band and take the cleanest one.

For a skin like this, the overall look matters more than chasing a particular float number.
