In Factory New (FN), the AWP | CMYK sits at the top of its scale: the other four wears cost 2.8 to 7.5 times less. The rifle is a Covert AWP from The Graphic Design Collection, and in this wear it is priced above twelve other Covert AWPs. The wear's band is 0.00 to 0.07.
What the AWP | CMYK looks like in Factory New
The finish has a white base with an abstract multicolor pattern over it. The stock with the thumb hole and the underside of the receiver stay white. Magenta is gathered into a wedge along the rail, and by the grip there is a halftone of lime and light-blue dots. The buttplate and magazine are dark gray.
On the optic the color forms rings: a magenta tube, with turquoise, lime and yellow bands at the edges. The barrel shifts smoothly in shade and ends in a pink muzzle.
What to check before buying
Across AWP | CMYK listings, compare these things:
- float: the 0.00 to 0.07 band takes about a ninth of the scale, and the skin's ceiling is 0.80;
- the edges and white fields of the stock, where scuffing shows at once;
- stickers on the body of the AWP | CMYK, and a rename if there is one.
A pattern index is no use for the AWP | CMYK, because the artwork never changes. In this wear the band is narrow, 0.00 to 0.07, and copies barely differ from one another.
What the AWP | CMYK costs in Factory New
Measured against this wear, the others are cheaper:
- Minimal Wear: by a factor of 2.8;
- Field-Tested: by a factor of 4.6;
- Well-Worn: by a factor of 4.7;
- Battle-Scarred: by a factor of 7.5.
The biggest step is from the top to Minimal Wear. After that the price falls in small steps. Higher in the rank stand AWP | Fade, about a tenth more expensive, and AWP | Medusa, ten times as expensive. AWP | Oni Taiji, AWP | Lightning Strike and AWP | LongDog cost from nine tenths to three quarters of the AWP | CMYK's price. AWP | Neo-Noir is the cheapest in the rank.
Getting the AWP | CMYK
The AWP | CMYK is in no case. The Graphic Design Collection was released in October 2024, and the skin has been part of the set since its release.
A trade-up contract for the AWP | CMYK is assembled like this: ten skins one rank lower, all from one collection. The Covert rank in the set is held by a single skin.
StatTrak and Souvenir
No StatTrak version of the AWP | CMYK exists. Souvenir packages were never made for this skin, though an ordinary copy can become a Souvenir through the Souvenir-O-Matic.
Stickers and craft on the AWP | CMYK
In Factory New, stickers go onto a clean base, so the build does not inherit scuffs from it. Dark stickers read on the white stock, while the magenta wedge and the dots are best left uncovered.
Who this wear suits
Buying the AWP | CMYK in Factory New makes sense when:
- you want a clean white base with no scuffs;
- you are building a set of stickers around the skin, and an even float near zero matters;
- the 2.8 times surcharge over Minimal Wear does not put you off.
For playing CS2 the wear changes only the look, and the difference from Minimal Wear shows up only up close.
