AWP | Crakow! (Factory New)

This is the AWP | Crakow! in Factory New (FN), and the rifle looks exactly as drawn here. The lime tips of the bipod feet are whole, and the receiver edges show no light metal. The float band is 0.00 to 0.07. It is a Classified skin, and the AWP belongs to the Overpass 2024 Collection.

What the AWP | Crakow! looks like in Factory New

The main element is a big inscription across the whole side of the receiver: "CRAKOW" in comic-book letters with an outline and a white burst behind them. The receiver, barrel and bipod are pink-magenta, while the bipod feet and the front sight are bright lime. The stock is assembled from panels of pink, lilac, lime and white, and carries a green figure and a second inscription in graffiti letters that cannot be read. A cartoon character with light hair sits at the rear of the receiver. The scope is dark purple with specks, and only the bolt handle is left bare.

In Factory New none of these details is touched. On the lower grades the lime bipod tips and the front sight go first. The receiver edges follow, then the edge of the cheek rest and the butt plate, where the collage panels break off. The big letters sit on a flat side and stay legible longest, so in Factory New you are not paying for an intact inscription but for clean edges.

Where the AWP | Crakow! came from

The Overpass 2024 Collection went live on October 2, 2024. The artwork has no outside artist: Valve made it itself, and nobody filed a Steam Workshop submission. In Valve's catalog the rifle is number 137.

What to check before buying

What varies between listings of this AWP:

• the float within 0.00 to 0.07: at the upper limit the lime bipod tips already carry a dark dot;


• stickers from a previous owner, and any rename.

A "rare" pattern cannot be bought here: the artwork is the same on every copy. The spread of 0.00 to 0.07 is so small that picking by float is pointless. The finish's scale is the full zero to one, and the clean grade takes about a fourteenth of it.

What the AWP | Crakow! costs in Factory New

The clean grade costs more than the other four:

• Minimal Wear is about a half of the price;


• Field-Tested is about three and a half times cheaper;


• Well-Worn is about four times cheaper;


• Battle-Scarred is almost five times cheaper.

The price descends evenly, and the largest step is the first: between FN and Minimal Wear the gap is twofold, then the steps get smaller. For a flat cartoon fill that is expected, since light metal on an edge looks like a random blotch here, not a trace of time.

Among Classified AWPs, this one in Factory New is fifth by price out of thirteen. The closest is AWP | Electric Hive, a gap of a few percent. Below it are AWP | Elite Build and AWP | The End, above it AWP | Corticera and AWP | BOOM, and AWP | Silk Tiger costs several times more.

Getting the AWP | Crakow!

The Overpass 2024 Collection has no case at all. A Souvenir release does exist, and those copies come from the Souvenir packages for that map.

Trade-up works too, with ten skins of the rank below from the set. There are two Classified skins in Overpass 2024, so the chance of landing the AWP is one in two. The rifle itself also goes in as an input: the Covert rank of the set is held by AK-47 | B the Monster.

StatTrak and Souvenir

No StatTrak™ version of the AWP | Crakow! exists. A Souvenir release does.

Stickers and craft on the AWP | Crakow!

Craft goes on this finish easily: flat panels and a rough outline take an equally rough sticker without a fight. For Factory New, though, the question is different: a sticker on a clean body is irreversible, and the premium is paid for an untouched look. Room for a craft remains on the stock and on the receiver below the inscription, and foil tournament stickers look foreign next to a cartoon scene.

Who this wear suits

This wear makes sense if:

• you want an AWP with an unusual style and lime bipod feet without a single scuff;


• the rifle is headed for a CS2 showcase, not daily matches;


• predictability matters: across 0.00 to 0.07 the bodies are practically identical.

For playing CS2, paying double the Minimal Wear price is pointless: at a distance the inscription and the character read the same. The difference shows up in close inspection, which is where people look at the bipod tips.
