AWP | Duality (Minimal Wear)

Minimal Wear (MW) on the AWP | Duality gives a crimson-painted AWP with almost all of its paint intact and only light marks of wear. The float band of 0.07 to 0.15 takes up 10% of the skin's scale, which ends at 0.80. The rank is Classified, and the skin comes from the Revolution Case. It exists in all five wears, and this one is second in price.

What the AWP | Duality looks like in Minimal Wear

The painted areas are the side of the receiver, the area around the magazine well and the stock. The main tone is a subdued crimson with raspberry blotches that turns olive-brown toward the edges. Pale gray-white curls lie over it, and a round medallion with a dark outline sits at the center of the side. Everything else, barrel, scope and bipod included, is dark metal.

In Minimal Wear the fill is intact almost everywhere, and the light curls run without noticeable breaks. Marks of wear are limited to the edges of the stock and the scope mount.

Where the AWP | Duality came from

Valve describes the finish as an AWP painted with a snake on each side, one red and the other gold. The tagline reads "There's two sides to every story". The skin reached the game on February 9, 2023, alongside the Revolution Collection.

What to check before buying

Before choosing an AWP | Duality, compare the following:

• the float: at 0.07 the paint is practically untouched, and at 0.15 the corners of the stock begin to lighten;

• any stickers and name tag the previous owner left on the listing.

There is no pattern lottery on the AWP | Duality: every copy is identical. In this wear the band is a tight strip from 0.07 to 0.15, and a difference between two listings is hard to catch.

What the AWP | Duality costs in Minimal Wear

On this skin only Factory New costs more than Minimal Wear, and by nearly double. The three lower wears are cheaper: Field-Tested by a third, Well-Worn by almost a third, and Battle-Scarred by about two fifths.

Among Classified AWPs at this wear, the AWP | Duality is the cheapest, with AWP | Mortis level with it. AWP | Fever Dream, AWP | Green Energy and AWP | Ice Coaled cost about three times as much. Higher up come AWP | BOOM and AWP | Graphite, and the ceiling is set by AWP | Silk Tiger.

Getting the AWP | Duality

The AWP | Duality drops from the Revolution Case. Besides the case there is a trade-up: ten skins of the rank below from this collection return an AWP | Duality. The collection holds three Classified skins, so the odds are one in three.

StatTrak and Souvenir

There is a StatTrak version of this AWP as well. Souvenir copies of it exist too, although no Souvenir packages were issued for the finish; those were made only for tournament map collections. Such copies are made with the Souvenir-O-Matic, which adds gold tournament stickers and a player autograph to a regular skin from the inventory.

Stickers and craft on the AWP | Duality

The almost untouched crimson fill holds stickers well: the background is even, and dense stickers read at once. Red ones merge with the paint, while white and light blue ones stand out. The stock and the side of the receiver offer the most room.

Who this wear suits

The AWP | Duality in Minimal Wear is a sensible buy if:

• you want nearly untouched artwork, and paying almost double for Factory New is not justified;

• picking by float does not matter to you, because listings are almost the same;

• the skin is meant for play and for a sticker craft on an even base.

For savings, the skin has three lower wears, and each costs a third less or more.
