AWP | Green Energy (Battle-Scarred)

The AWP | Green Energy in Battle-Scarred (BS) is the cheapest of the five grades, and the one trade-up contracts hand over most often. The rifle wears green metallic paint with flake in it, and a yellow stripe runs along the body. Float here starts at 0.45 and stops at 0.75 rather than 1.00. The rank is Classified, the skin belongs to The Boreal Collection, and no CS2 case carries it.

What the AWP | Green Energy looks like in Battle-Scarred

Metallic paint with flake in it loses depth first: the green turns matte and drifts toward swamp. The yellow stripe survives longer, since it crosses a flat part of the body. Wear gathers on the edges, the handguard and the scope mount instead. The lowered float cap helps visibly, and this rifle never reaches the state of a truly beaten AWP. The spread inside the grade is small, so a copy at 0.46 and one at 0.74 differ little.

What to check before buying

Only two things separate one AWP | Green Energy listing from another:

• the float, since near the top of the band the shine in the paint is all but gone;


• a name tag and stickers already sitting on the body.

The AWP | Green Energy has no pattern variants, so nothing here carries a pattern premium.

At the bottom of the 0.45 to 0.75 band the body looks noticeably fresher than at the top.

What the AWP | Green Energy costs in Battle-Scarred

The starting price for this grade stands in the listing block above. The gap to the other grades is wide:

• Factory New asks close to ten times as much;


• Minimal Wear roughly five times;


• Field-Tested and Well-Worn around twice.

That spread leaves Battle-Scarred as the only genuinely cheap way into the finish. For a rifle meant to be played rather than displayed, paying several times over for a clean grade is hard to defend.

Getting the AWP | Green Energy

No case holds the rifle: The Boreal Collection was never packed into cases. In game the only route to it is a trade-up contract. The set arrived on March 31, 2025.

A contract turns ten Restricted skins into one Classified skin. The inputs here are ten skins one rank below in the same collection, Glock-18 | Glockingbird or M4A4 | Sheet Lightning among them. And this is the skin's defining quirk: it is the collection's only Classified finish, so the contract returns it every time.

Hence the lopsided supply across grades. The wear on the output follows the wear of the inputs, and the most beaten inputs cost the least. Contracts get assembled from those in bulk, and out comes this same rifle in a worn grade. Battle-Scarred therefore occupies the longest stretch of its scale.

StatTrak and Souvenir

Stickers and craft on the AWP | Green Energy

No StatTrak version of the AWP | Green Energy was ever released. Souvenir copies do turn up, but no Souvenir packages were made for this finish: packages only ever covered tournament map collections. Those copies are built with the Souvenir-O-Matic, which puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on a normal skin from the inventory.

Green metallic with a yellow stripe is an active base, and quiet combinations are few. Yellow and white stickers fall in with the stripe, black ones give contrast. Green sinks into the paint, while red and purple argue with it. The paint is dull in this grade, so an expensive craft will not pay for itself.

Who this wear suits

Buying the AWP | Green Energy in this grade makes sense when:

• a bright AWP for CS2 is wanted on the smallest possible budget;


• a predictable price matters, since contracts keep refilling the grade;


• the rifle is going to be covered in cheap stickers anyway.

The drawback: the metallic shine people buy this skin for barely reads here. Reaching it means going up to Field-Tested at the very least.
