AWP | Hyper Beast (Factory New)

Factory New (FN) is the cleanest and dearest wear of the AWP | Hyper Beast. In this wear the float stretch is 0.00 to 0.07. It is a Covert skin that belongs to the Falchion Collection and drops from the case of the same name.

What the AWP | Hyper Beast looks like in Factory New

The front of the rifle is dark gray-steel metal: barrel, bipod, scope, nose of the receiver. Next comes a gray-black zone with the outline of an animal's muzzle, and right behind it the color begins. The stock is painted in swirls of crimson, magenta, green, turquoise and orange. The scope ring is red.

In Factory New the metal is untouched and the paint on the stock is dense and bright. Valve calls the beast psychedelic, and on a clean body that reads best: the swirls do not break off at the edges.

Where the AWP | Hyper Beast came from

The designer, according to the data, is frontaLOBE. The submission "AWP | Hyper Beast" in the Steam Workshop is dated January 14, 2015, and a user named Rene was the one who posted it. The submission credits the artwork to the illustrator Brock Hofer, and the author promised more weapons in this theme.

The Falchion Collection joined the game on May 26, 2015, and the AWP | Hyper Beast arrived in the same update. Valve's catalog lists the finish as number 475.

What to check before buying

The differences between copies of the AWP | Hyper Beast come down to this:

• whether this particular rifle carries stickers or a name tag;


• the float number, although across 0.00 to 0.07 it changes almost nothing.

An AWP | Hyper Beast with a "rare" pattern cannot be bought: the artwork is the same on every copy. A spread of 0.00 to 0.07 is so small that picking by float is pointless.

Getting the AWP | Hyper Beast

A trade-up contract for the AWP | Hyper Beast is made of ten skins one step down. From the skin's own collection, CZ75-Auto | Yellow Jacket, MP7 | Nemesis and SG 553 | Cyrex qualify. With such a ten the odds are one in two, because the set has two Covert skins.

The Falchion Case remains the second way in. A Covert skin can serve as an input to a craft that ends in a knife: the collection has one knife, the Falchion Knife.

StatTrak and Souvenir

There is a StatTrak version of the AWP | Hyper Beast. Souvenir copies of the finish exist as well, but no souvenir packages were released for it: those were made only for the tournament map collections. Such copies are assembled through the Souvenir-O-Matic, which puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on a regular skin from the inventory.

Stickers and craft on the AWP | Hyper Beast

The clean dark metal at the front is a convenient spot: light stickers read there without interference. The stock is mottled, and any sticker on it blends into the paint. A sticker placed on factory paint sits on a clean surface, so a wrong color choice shows at once. Cool shades echo the turquoise on the stock.

Who this wear suits

Factory New is justified for the AWP | Hyper Beast in these cases:

• you want clean paint with no wear on the dark metal;


• the rifle is chosen for a CS2 collection rather than daily play;


• you specifically want the factory stretch of 0.00 to 0.07, which is 7% of the finish's float scale.

The price gap to the next wear is large, and the look changes modestly. The next wear looks close and costs noticeably less.
