The AWP | Ice Coaled in Battle-Scarred (BS) is a Classified AWP from The Genesis Collection, painted in a gradient from green to blue. Of the finish's five wears it is the cheapest, and its float band is the longest of them all. The skin comes from the Sealed Genesis Terminal.
What the AWP | Ice Coaled looks like in Battle-Scarred
Valve describes the finish as a bright green-to-blue gradient. The transition stretches along the whole length of the body, and the caption reads "Cold to the touch".
This wear is given floats from 0.45 to 1.00, which is more than half of the finish's scale. The stretch is long enough to show on inspection: wear is moderate at the start of the band and at its maximum near 1.00. Wear is set when the skin drops and does not grow over time.
Where the AWP | Ice Coaled came from
REINCARNATION drew the finish. On the Steam Workshop the submission was titled "AWP ICE COALED" and was posted on December 8, 2024. The same author made the AK version, which came out earlier, in The Recoil Collection.
The AWP | Ice Coaled itself arrived on September 16, 2025, when The Genesis Collection was added to the game. Valve's catalog number for the finish is 1346.
What to check before buying
When choosing a copy, pay attention to the following:
- float: the farther it sits from 0.45, the more wear marks the body carries;
- the name tag and stickers this AWP already wears;
- the listing type, regular or StatTrak.
The pattern is fixed, so price does not follow the pattern.
What the AWP | Ice Coaled costs in Battle-Scarred
Price rises as you move up through the wears:
- Well-Worn costs more than a third above this wear;
- Field-Tested costs about three-quarters more;
- Minimal Wear costs almost four times as much;
- Factory New costs more than seven times as much.
Among the nine Classified AWPs in this wear, the skin is fourth from the bottom. AWP | Duality, AWP | Green Energy and AWP | Mortis all cost less. AWP | The End and AWP | Elite Build sit above it, and the top of the rank belongs to AWP | Silk Tiger, which costs tens of times more.
Getting the AWP | Ice Coaled
The skin's source is the Sealed Genesis Terminal. Beyond the terminal, there is a trade-up contract.
A contract can produce the AWP | Ice Coaled: ten skins of the rank below, taken from the collection, go in. These are the Restricted finishes of Genesis: Dual Berettas | Angel Eyes, M4A1-S | Liquidation, MAC-10 | Cat Fight, Nova | Ocular and UMP-45 | Continuum. The collection holds three Classified skins, so the odds of an AWP are one in three.
StatTrak and Souvenir
A StatTrak version of the AWP | Ice Coaled exists. Souvenir packages were never issued for this finish: they were made only for the tournament map collections. A souvenir copy can still be assembled by hand, though. The Souvenir-O-Matic puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on a regular skin from the inventory. That is why the occasional souvenir copy turns up even where no packages ever existed.
Stickers and craft on the AWP | Ice Coaled
The gradient runs cold, from green to blue, so warm stickers stand out on it as an accent while green and blue ones merge with the paint. For a craft in CS2, Battle-Scarred is the cheapest of the five bases: the rifle itself costs less here than in any other wear.
Who this wear suits
Battle-Scarred is the right pick for the AWP | Ice Coaled if at least one of these fits:
- you want a Classified AWP at the lowest price the finish offers;
- the gradient appeals on its own and scuffs do not bother you;
- the rifle is for CS2, where price matters more than cleanliness.
If you want a cleaner look, the nearest wear above is Well-Worn. It costs more than a third more, and its float runs from 0.38 to 0.45.
