AWP | Ice Coaled (Minimal Wear)

The AWP | Ice Coaled in Minimal Wear (MW) shows a gradient of nearly factory cleanliness, and you do not have to pay for the top of the scale. In this wear the float runs from 0.07 to 0.15. It is a Classified skin, and the AWP drops from the Sealed Genesis Terminal.

What the AWP | Ice Coaled looks like in Minimal Wear

Paint lies only on the receiver, handguard and stock, and runs across them in one unbroken transition from left to right. The receiver is bright green, the green then shifts into turquoise, and toward the stock it becomes a saturated blue. Inside the blue part of the stock you can see icy swirls and pale veins. The long barrel, the bipod and the scope body are left black, with a turquoise ring at the eyepiece. All the graphics on the finish come to one small line of white text on the side of the receiver.

In Minimal Wear the transition does not break: there are no borders between the colors at all, and the soft gradient holds whole. Scuffs settle on the edges of the receiver and on the butt of the stock. Bright green grays faster than the blue, so the condition of a copy is read from the rear half of the rifle. At the bottom of the band the edge is still even, and by 0.15 it has begun to lighten.

Where the AWP | Ice Coaled came from

The finish was painted by an artist posting as REINCARNATION, who put the submission up on the Steam Workshop on December 8, 2024 under the working title AWP ICE COALED. The Genesis Collection with this skin was released on September 16, 2025. Valve's catalog lists the finish as number 1346. In the note for the September update Valve separately allowed players in Belgium, the Netherlands and France to open Genesis terminals.

What to check before buying

What separates one AWP | Ice Coaled from another comes down to this:

• the float inside 0.07 to 0.15: at the lower end the receiver edge is clean;

• the butt of the stock, where the green gives way first;

• the stickers and name tag the AWP | Ice Coaled picked up from a previous owner.

There is, as such, no choosing by pattern on the AWP | Ice Coaled. In this wear the band is a tight 0.07 to 0.15, and a difference between listings is hard to catch.

What the AWP | Ice Coaled costs in Minimal Wear

Relative to this wear, the neighboring steps price out like this:

• Factory New costs exactly twice as much;

• Field-Tested costs almost half as much;

• Well-Worn costs two and a half times less;

• Battle-Scarred costs three and a half times less.

Among Classified AWPs, the AWP | Ice Coaled in Minimal Wear is third from the bottom of fourteen. Only the AWP | Duality and the AWP | Mortis are cheaper. The AWP | Fever Dream and the AWP | Green Energy sit close above. The top of the rank is far away: the AWP | Silk Tiger costs more than twenty times as much.

Getting the AWP | Ice Coaled

There is one direct route, the Sealed Genesis Terminal, from which the rifle drops.

For a contract that ends in the AWP | Ice Coaled you hand in ten skins one rank down, all from one set. Genesis has three Classified skins, so the chance of landing on this finish is one in three.

StatTrak and Souvenir

Stickers and craft on the AWP | Ice Coaled

The AWP | Ice Coaled has a StatTrak version. Souvenir copies of the finish turn up as well, though no Souvenir packages were ever made for it: packages only ever covered tournament map collections. Those copies are built with the Souvenir-O-Matic, which puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on a normal skin from the inventory.

This rifle has little even background for stickers: the gradient fills the side of the receiver, and the finish's white text lies in the same place. The green half takes dark stickers and the blue half takes light ones; at the middle of the transition any sticker looks accidental. Putting one on is a final decision, and in Minimal Wear you are paying extra for clean edges in the first place.

Who this wear suits

Minimal Wear on the AWP | Ice Coaled is worth buying for these reasons:

• you want the gradient clean and do not want to overpay for the top of the scale;

• the rifle will be looked at up close, in the CS2 inventory;

• you want a long run of color: on an AWP it can be seen in full.

For play in CS2 this wear is more than you need: in a match green and blue read the same at any float. The point of MW is exactly the even receiver edge and the intact butt of the stock.
