The AWP | LongDog in Battle-Scarred (BS) is a white Covert AWP with red trim and the widest wear band of the skin. Its float runs from 0.45 to 1.00, which is 55% of the whole scale. Both sides can use it, and it belongs to the Train 2025 Collection.
What the AWP | LongDog looks like in Battle-Scarred
A cream-tinged white base carries scattered black-gray flecks and splashes. White paint covers the barrel along its full length, the side of the receiver and the stock, while the scope stays black. The metal of the barrel under the paint is dark.
The red sits on small protruding parts. They are a ring at the muzzle, the front ring of the scope and the bipod tips. The rest are the base of the magazine well, the rim of the butt pad and the cheek rest. The main detail is the red figure on the side of the stock near the butt pad. It is a careless drawing that resembles a stretched-out creature or a handwritten signature, and it does not read as any particular animal. Valve's description calls it the LongDog graffiti from the Train map.
In Battle-Scarred, wear shows most on the long round barrel and on the red trim. The white sits next to dark metal there, so every gouge stands out. The degree of wear is set once, when the skin drops.
Where the AWP | LongDog came from
No Workshop submission stands behind the AWP | LongDog: it is Valve's own work. The Train 2025 Collection arrived on March 31, 2025, with the Counter-Strike 2 update, and the AWP | LongDog came in that same update. In Valve's catalog the finish carries number 1213.
What to check before buying
On an AWP | LongDog listing, check these parameters:
- the float, which in this wear comes from the 0.45 to 1.00 band, with a different look at each end of it;
- the white coating on the barrel and the red trim on the raised parts;
- stickers from a previous owner and a name tag on the AWP | LongDog.
There is no way to buy an AWP | LongDog with a "rare" pattern: the artwork is identical on every copy.
What the AWP | LongDog costs in Battle-Scarred
Every other wear of the AWP | LongDog is dearer than Battle-Scarred:
- Factory New, by more than twelve times;
- Minimal Wear, by about 3.7 times;
- Field-Tested, by about 1.6 times;
- Well-Worn, by a few percent.
The price does not rise smoothly toward the clean wears: the steepest step is at the top edge.
Of the eighteen Covert AWPs priced in this wear, the skin costs more than three. Directly above come AWP | Neo-Noir and AWP | Printstream, about an eighth dearer. AWP | Wildfire costs almost the same, and AWP | Hyper Beast is cheaper. At the top of the row, AWP | The Prince costs sixty times as much, and AWP | Gungnir more than two hundred times.
Getting the AWP | LongDog
There is no regular case for the AWP | LongDog. The skin sits in the Austin 2025 and Budapest 2025 Train souvenir packages. A trade-up also gets you the AWP | LongDog, and it takes ten skins of the rank below from this collection. The Train 2025 Collection has only one Covert skin, so the result of the trade-up is known in advance.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The AWP | LongDog has no StatTrak version, but a Souvenir edition exists. The Austin 2025 Train Souvenir Package and the Budapest 2025 Train Souvenir Package hand it out.
Stickers and craft on the AWP | LongDog
A white base accepts almost any color except white and cream. Red stickers pick up the trim on the raised parts and read as a detail of the skin itself. The side of the receiver is the free spot, and the red figure on the stock is better left uncovered.
Who this wear suits
Battle-Scarred is the right pick for the AWP | LongDog if:
- you want a Covert AWP for CS2 at the lowest price of any wear of the skin;
- scuffed white on the barrel does not bother you, and Factory New costs more than twelve times as much;
- a float from the long 0.45 to 1.00 band suits you, once the number is checked on the listing.
In play, the white speckle and the red figure read in any wear. The difference shows in the inventory and up close.
