The AWP | LongDog in Minimal Wear (MW) is a white Covert AWP whose scuffs are still light. This wear takes the float range from 0.07 to 0.15. The skin belongs to the Train 2025 Collection and is available to both sides.
What the AWP | LongDog looks like in Minimal Wear
The skin is white with a creamy undertone and dense black-gray flecking. Paint covers the barrel end to end, and the side of the receiver and the stock are white as well. The red parts are confined to small nodes. They are the muzzle ring, the front scope ring, the tips of the bipod, the underside of the magazine, the butt plate and the cheek piece.
A handwritten red figure on the side of the stock carries the whole design. Valve ties it to the LongDog graffiti on the Train map. It reads more like a flourish than a dog, and there is no other lettering on the skin.
In Minimal Wear the white coating on the barrel and the red trim still hold, though thin scuffs can already be found on the edges. Against the dark metal they show even at light wear.
Where the AWP | LongDog came from
The AWP | LongDog was not dreamed up in the Steam Workshop but by Valve itself. The Train 2025 Collection opened in the game on March 31, 2025, and the skin was there from the first day. Valve's note for the update is a single line naming the collection.
What to check before buying
When choosing an AWP | LongDog, compare these:
- the float, which fits inside 0.07 to 0.15, so listings look alike;
- the red trim at the bipod and the muzzle ring;
- whether the AWP | LongDog carries stickers and an applied name.
There are no two different artworks for the AWP | LongDog.
What the AWP | LongDog costs in Minimal Wear
The other wears, measured against this one:
- Factory New is dearer by more than triple;
- Field-Tested costs less than half as much;
- Well-Worn is cheaper by a factor of about 3.4;
- Battle-Scarred is cheaper by a factor of about 3.7.
The skin sits between two large steps: Factory New above it, and all three of the worn wears below.
Among the twenty Covert AWPs, this one sits above nine and below ten. AWP | Sovereign Flame costs a third more. AWP | Man-o'-war and AWP | Containment Breach are a seventh to a sixth cheaper, and AWP | Wildfire costs almost half as much. The top of the row belongs to AWP | Medusa, AWP | Dragon Lore and AWP | Gungnir, which cost tens of times as much.
Getting the AWP | LongDog
The AWP | LongDog has no case: it sits in the Austin 2025 Train and Budapest 2025 Train souvenir packages. It is assembled through a trade-up contract of ten skins of the rank below, all from one collection. The Train 2025 Collection has a single Covert skin, so the contract has no other outcome.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The AWP | LongDog does not come with StatTrak; a Souvenir version exists.
Stickers and craft on the AWP | LongDog
On the clean white base almost every color reads except white. Stickers next to the red nodes, at the bipod and the butt plate, look like part of the paint. For a CS2 craft, the side of the receiver is free.
Who this wear suits
Minimal Wear is a good place to buy the AWP | LongDog under these conditions:
- you want a light-colored AWP on which scuffs hardly show;
- Factory New costs more than three times as much, and the extra payment feels unnecessary;
- the skin is for everyday use in a CS2 inventory rather than for display.
If some wear is acceptable, Field-Tested costs less than half as much.
