The AWP | LongDog in Well-Worn (WW) is a white Covert AWP on which the scuffs show right away. The wear band is 0.38 to 0.45, which is 7% of the skin's scale from 0.00 to 1.00. The collection is Train 2025, and either side can use it.
What the AWP | LongDog looks like in Well-Worn
The base is nearly white, slightly cream, with dense dark dots. The white lies on the barrel, the side of the receiver and the stock. The black scope and the dark metal under the paint make a sharp contrast.
Red marks the ring at the muzzle, the front ring of the scope and the ends of the bipod. It also marks the foot of the magazine well, the rim of the butt pad and the cheek rest. Next to the butt pad, on the side, is a careless red figure: part creature, part signature. Valve captions the skin with words about the best dog in the world, waiting at home.
In Well-Worn, the white on the long barrel is clearly battered, and the red trim on the raised parts is worn at the edges. The red figure on the flat of the stock looks better than anything else on the rifle. The degree of wear is written into the float at drop.
Where the AWP | LongDog came from
The AWP | LongDog finish came from Valve, not from the Steam Workshop. The skin was released on March 31, 2025, and one line of the update notes named only the collection. Its number in Valve's catalog is 1213.
What to check before buying
When picking an AWP | LongDog, compare these:
- the float, which in this wear is a tight band from 0.38 to 0.45, where telling listings apart is hard;
- how well the red trim on the bipod and the butt pad has survived;
- whether the AWP | LongDog carries someone else's stickers or an applied name.
The pattern index on the AWP | LongDog changes nothing.
What the AWP | LongDog costs in Well-Worn
Here is how the other wears of the AWP | LongDog compare with Well-Worn:
- Factory New carries a premium of more than elevenfold;
- Minimal Wear is dearer by more than triple;
- Field-Tested is dearer by about half again;
- Battle-Scarred is cheaper by a few percent.
The two lowest wears cost practically the same, and the gap between them is smaller than between any other neighbors.
Of the seventeen Covert AWPs priced in this wear, the skin costs more than three and less than thirteen. Above it stand AWP | Wildfire, a fifth dearer, and AWP | Printstream and AWP | Neo-Noir, almost level with it. AWP | Chromatic Aberration is a sixteenth cheaper, and AWP | Hyper Beast more than a fifth. AWP | Gungnir costs more than two hundred times as much.
Getting the AWP | LongDog
The AWP | LongDog cannot be pulled from a case. It sits in the Austin 2025 Train and Budapest 2025 Train souvenir packages. The contract for it takes ten skins of the rank below, all from one collection. The Covert skin there is the only one, so the contract always leads to it.
StatTrak and Souvenir
There is no StatTrak version of the AWP | LongDog, but Souvenir copies exist.
Stickers and craft on the AWP | LongDog
On a battered white base, dark stickers look cleaner than light ones, which get lost against the white that is left. Red stickers echo the color of the trim. For a CS2 craft, the side of the receiver is the convenient place.
Who this wear suits
Well-Worn suits the AWP | LongDog when:
- you want a Covert AWP with visible wear, without the eleven-fold premium;
- there is no reason to save on Battle-Scarred, which is cheaper by only a few percent;
- the red figure on the stock matters more to you than a white barrel.
In CS2 it is the same skin, with the wear recorded in the float number.
