Battle-Scarred (BS) is the roughest and cheapest of the five wears of the AWP | Sovereign Flame. The gold on the scope and receiver is rubbed down, while the flame curls on the barrel and stock hold up. Its rank is Covert, it comes from The Arabesque Collection, and cases do not include it.
What the AWP | Sovereign Flame looks like in Battle-Scarred
The AWP is painted in gold and dark bronze. The optical scope and the receiver parts are gold, with fine engraving. The barrel is dark, with flame curls in red-orange and brown winding along it. The stock is gray-beige, with the same curls on its lower part. Red-brown paint covers the bipod.
In Battle-Scarred, wear shows across the whole rifle: the gold on raised edges dulls and wears off, and the curls on the stock lose their sharpness. The float runs from 0.45 to 1.00, a wide band, so the wear label is the same on every listing while the condition is not.
Where the AWP | Sovereign Flame came from
Its Steam Workshop title was "AWP | Sovereign Flame" and the artist is kenN. The Arabesque Collection was released on July 8, 2026, and the skin has been part of it since launch. Valve's note for that update speaks of two new weapon collections, Spy Tech and Arabesque, assembled following the Call to Arms community announcement. The skin's number in Valve's catalog is 1465.
What to check before buying
What sets one AWP | Sovereign Flame listing apart from another:
- float: from 0.45 to 1.00 the gold is rubbed down differently, and the number shows how much is left on the scope;
- the curls on the barrel and stock, where wear is visible;
- an applied name tag and stickers, if they are already on this copy.
Pattern gives no basis for choosing on the AWP | Sovereign Flame.
What the AWP | Sovereign Flame costs in Battle-Scarred
Against Battle-Scarred, the other wears stand like this:
- Factory New costs about 5.7 times as much;
- Minimal Wear costs about 2.4 times as much;
- Field-Tested costs more than 1.5 times as much;
- Well-Worn sells a few percent higher.
This wear takes 0.55 of the 1.00 scale, more than half. Battle-Scarred is priced below all the others, but the gap to Well-Worn is small.
Among the eighteen Covert AWPs in this wear, the skin is mid-list: nine cost less and eight cost more. AWP | CMYK and AWP | Asiimov are close in price, while AWP | Containment Breach, AWP | Neo-Noir and AWP | Printstream are cheaper by two fifths or more.
Getting the AWP | Sovereign Flame
The AWP | Sovereign Flame does not turn up in CS2 cases. A contract for it is built from ten Classified skins, all from one collection. The chance of getting this skin is one in two.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The AWP | Sovereign Flame has no StatTrak™ version and no souvenir packages. A souvenir copy can still be built through the Souvenir-O-Matic, if you want one.
Stickers and craft on the AWP | Sovereign Flame
The dark barrel and the gray-beige stock leave free background. White and silver stickers show up on the dark parts, while gold and orange ones merge with the curls. A rubbed-down rifle takes any craft without the worry of spoiling something intact, since worn-off gold does not come back.
Who this wear suits
Battle-Scarred suits the AWP | Sovereign Flame if:
- you want a Covert AWP for CS2 at the lowest price among this skin's wears;
- dull gold on the edges does not bother you;
- you need an inexpensive base for a craft.
To keep the gold on the edges, take Field-Tested: it costs more than one and a half times as much.
