Charm | Hot Howl

Charm | Hot Howl is an Extraordinary charm from the Missing Link Charm Collection. It is the most expensive in its set: first place of seventeen.

What the Charm | Hot Howl looks like

The charm is a long, thin creature with a glossy orange-yellow body. Its face looks like a skull, with white eyes, dark pupils and a wide-open mouth full of fangs.

Below, the body turns into pink-crimson flame, the little legs are dark, and a thin golden chain runs along the top. The color is warm and fiery, and it is noticeable at once on a dark weapon.

Where the Charm | Hot Howl came from

The item belongs to the Missing Link Charm Collection. All charms arrived in CS2 on October 2, 2024, with The Armory update.

The item has no backstory. Of Hot Howl, only the way a charm works is described.

How the charm works

The charm attaches to weapons and to C4 skins, but not to knives or gloves. The Charm Detachment tool returns it to your inventory undamaged.

A weapon has one slot for a charm, and Sticker Slab occupies the same one, so Hot Howl rules out Sticker Slab and the reverse. It hangs as a three-dimensional figure: when you run or turn, it swings instead of staying a flat drawing.

Pattern number

Inspecting the item shows its individual pattern number. The number does not affect how Hot Howl looks, and people value it as a collector's detail.

What the Charm | Hot Howl costs

This is the most expensive position in the Missing Link Charm Collection of seventeen. The next one down, Charm | Hot Wurst, is two and a half times cheaper.

Charm | Diamond Dog is more than four times cheaper, and Charm | Lil' Monster almost nine times.

Hot Howl is worth buying for CS2 in these cases:

• you want the charm in the highest position of the Missing Link Charm Collection;

• a fiery color suits your dark weapon;

• you want an item that clearly stands out among its neighbors in the price order.
