Charm | Magmatude

The Charm | Magmatude is a charm from the Missing Link Community Charm Collection. Within its set it ranks ninth of twenty-three by price.

What the Charm | Magmatude looks like

The figure is a little ghost. The top is black, and the face seems to be melting: the pink eyes and open mouth glow. Lower down, the body fades smoothly into pink and peach.

It has two short legs and a metal clasp on top. Black against pink gives it strong contrast.

Where the Charm | Magmatude came from

The Missing Link Community Charm Collection holds this item. It is one of the charms added by The Armory update on October 2, 2024.

The item has no character backstory. Valve's text explains only how charms work.

How the charm works

A charm hangs on a weapon or on a C4 skin. It cannot go on knives or gloves. The Charm Detachment tool removes it, and it returns to the CS2 inventory intact.

A weapon has a single charm slot, and Sticker Slab uses the same one, so Magmatude and Sticker Slab cannot share a weapon. Magmatude hangs as a three-dimensional figure and swings when the character runs or turns sharply.

Pattern number

However many copies exist, each has its own pattern number, shown on inspect. The copies look identical.

What the Charm | Magmatude costs

Higher up in the Missing Link Community Charm Collection, Charm | Lil' Hero costs two and a half times as much. Charm | Piñatita costs almost double, and Charm | Lil' Chirp one and a half times as much.

Lower down, Charm | Lil' Goop and Charm | Lil' Moments sit at almost the same level, and Charm | Lil' Prick is almost a third cheaper.
