Clutch Case

The Clutch Case is a base-grade CS2 case that holds seventeen skins. Its rare special item pool is not knives but gloves: six glove models and twenty-four skins on them.

What's in the Clutch Case

The Clutch Case covers four ranks: two Covert skins, three Classified, five Restricted and seven Mil-Spec. The Covert pair is M4A4 | Neo-Noir and MP7 | Bloodsport.

The Classified skins are AUG | Stymphalian, AWP | Mortis and USP-S | Cortex. The Restricted ones are Glock-18 | Moonrise, Negev | Lionfish, Nova | Wild Six, MAG-7 | SWAG-7 and UMP-45 | Arctic Wolf.

The Mil-Spec skins are PP-Bizon | Night Riot, Five-SeveN | Flame Test and MP9 | Black Sand. Also in this rank are P2000 | Urban Hazard, R8 Revolver | Grip, SG 553 | Aloha and XM1014 | Oxide Blaze.

Which gloves drop from the Clutch Case

The rare special item is a pair of gloves in one of six models: Driver Gloves, Hand Wraps, Hydra Gloves, Moto Gloves, Specialist Gloves or Sport Gloves.

Twenty-four skins sit on those models: Amphibious, Arboreal, Bronze Morph, Buckshot, Case Hardened, Cobalt Skulls, Crimson Web, Duct Tape; Emerald, Fade, Imperial Plaid, King Snake, Mangrove, Mogul, Omega, Overprint; Overtake, POW!, Polygon, Racing Green, Rattler, Transport, Turtle, Vice.

Model, skin and wear all come out random. Valve put these same gloves into the rare special item pool of the Revolution Case as well.

Do you need a key

Yes: the Clutch Case opens with a key that is bought in the game. Since October 2019 Valve has not allowed keys to be passed to other players, so the LIS-SKINS catalog carries no keys.

Opening the case isn't required. If you want specific gloves or a skin, it is easier to take them as a separate listing, which comes out cheaper than chasing them through cases.

What the Clutch Case costs

Among CS2 cases, the Clutch Case is in the lower part of the range. The Sealed Dead Hand Terminal is 1.76 times cheaper, the Snakebite Case 1.48 times, and the Fracture Case 1.16 times. Further up, the Fever Case costs 1.35 times more, the Gallery Case 1.43 times, and the CS20 Case 1.89 times.

The gap to the top of the range is enormous. The eSports 2013 Case costs about 110 times as much as the Clutch Case, and the CS:GO Weapon Case about 270 times.

Who it suits

The Clutch Case is worth buying when:

• you want a case with a chance at gloves rather than a knife;


• Case Hardened, Fade and Emerald on gloves interest you;


• you like M4A4 | Neo-Noir and MP7 | Bloodsport, the Covert skins of the set.
