In Factory New (FN) the Desert Eagle | Heat Treated is a Deagle with tempering colors and gold edges that are still untouched. It is Classified, from the collection called Limited Edition Item, and no case holds it. It plays for both sides in CS2.
What the Desert Eagle | Heat Treated looks like in Factory New
Swirls of heat color cover the slide and frame: steel blue, violet, copper brown and pale cream run as one continuous field. The brightest blue patches lie in the middle of the slide and on the front of the frame, and a brown stripe runs along the top of the slide. The grip panels and trigger stay bare dark gray metal.
Polished brass gold is reserved for the muzzle ring, the sight rails and the edges of the slide. There is no drawn figure: the whole effect rests on the color of the metal.
The band for this wear of the Desert Eagle | Heat Treated runs from 0.00 to 0.07. In Factory New the gold on the edges is whole, and the color field has no scrapes. Wear is recorded once, when the item drops.
Where the Desert Eagle | Heat Treated came from
Valve drew the Desert Eagle | Heat Treated, and there is no Steam Workshop submission for this skin. Valve describes the finish as hardening with charcoal at high temperature and adds: "A little color never hurt anyone." The catalog number of the skin is 1054.
The skin was released in the Limited Edition Item collection on October 2, 2024. Valve's update note names this Deagle on a separate line among the Armory's new items. On January 15, 2025 Valve announced that it can no longer be picked up there.
What to check before buying
Choosing a particular Desert Eagle | Heat Treated listing rests on these points:
- pattern: the share of blue and gold differs between copies, and two listings with the same float look different;
- float: across 0.00 to 0.07 the look hardly changes, and the number is what sets listings apart;
- other people's stickers and a name tag on this Desert Eagle | Heat Treated.
Between 0.00 and 0.07 the Desert Eagle | Heat Treated looks the same, so the choice goes by pattern.
What the Desert Eagle | Heat Treated costs in Factory New
Factory New is the most expensive wear by a wide margin:
- Minimal Wear is about thirteen times cheaper;
- Field-Tested is more than thirty times cheaper;
- Well-Worn is about thirty-four times cheaper;
- Battle-Scarred is thirty-six times cheaper.
Among the nine Classified Desert Eagles priced in this wear, this skin is third from the bottom. Desert Eagle | Mecha Industries is cheaper by a quarter, Desert Eagle | Conspiracy by almost a third. Desert Eagle | Eastern Enigma and Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon cost almost twice as much, Desert Eagle | Cobalt Disruption two and a half times.
Getting the Desert Eagle | Heat Treated
The Desert Eagle | Heat Treated is in none of the CS2 cases. It is a limited item: Valve issued it through the Armory, not from a case.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The Desert Eagle | Heat Treated has no StatTrak version and no souvenir packages.
Stickers and craft on the Desert Eagle | Heat Treated
On Factory New the color field is clean and shimmers brightly, so a sticker on the slide competes with the metal itself. Plain black and white stickers read better than colored ones, and holograms repeat the shine. Of the places for a craft, the frame under the slide suits best.
Who this wear suits
The Desert Eagle | Heat Treated in Factory New makes sense in three cases:
- you want a Deagle with untouched gold on the muzzle ring and sight rails;
- you are picking a pattern with a large blue field on the slide and color without scrapes;
- you want the cleanest version, and the thirteen-fold gap to Minimal Wear does not bother you.
