The Desert Eagle | Heirloom in Battle-Scarred (BS) is a Restricted skin from CS:GO Weapon Case 3, with gold engraving laid over dark steel. This wear is assigned a float of 0.45 to 0.80, a stretch cut off at the top: the finish's scale ends at 0.80, not 1.00. BS takes 44% of the scale, the widest share of any wear of this skin.

What the Desert Eagle | Heirloom looks like in Battle-Scarred

Valve describes the Deagle as engraved by hand and inlaid with scrollwork. The slide is dark steel that lightens toward the muzzle. The gold scrolls gather at the ends of the slide and at the back, at the base of the hammer, and the grip is black. There are no other colors on the weapon.

In BS the metal is scuffed the most, and the fine engraving at the ends of the slide holds up worse than on the higher wears. Both 0.45 and 0.80 fit inside this one stretch, and such listings look different from each other.

Where the Desert Eagle | Heirloom came from

The Arms Deal 3 Collection came out in February 2014, and the Heirloom has been part of it from the start. CS:GO Weapon Case 3 is devoted entirely to pistols.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The Desert Eagle | Heirloom has a StatTrak version. No Souvenir packages were issued for it.

Stickers and craft on the Desert Eagle | Heirloom

The slide is dark and even in the middle, which is where a sticker reads best. White and silvery stickers give contrast, while gold ones blend into the scrolls. The engraving near the ends is better left uncovered.

Buying the Desert Eagle | Heirloom in this particular wear makes sense when:
