The Desert Eagle | Mint Fan in Well-Worn (WW) has a mint-green pattern on a dark brown base, already marked by wear. The float for this wear runs from 0.38 to 0.45. It is a Mil-Spec skin, and the pistol belongs to The Ascent Collection.
What the Desert Eagle | Mint Fan looks like in Well-Worn
The base of the finish is a dark brown-burgundy tone, like aged wood. Over it lies a mint-green pattern of fans and leaves, built up in a fine halftone, as in print. The front sight and the small details near the safety are light green, and the grip panel is plain brown.
In Well-Worn the paint along the edges of the slide and frame is already rubbed off, and light metal shows on the high points. The pattern stays readable all the same: the artwork is large, and individual scuffs do not break it. Wear is recorded at drop, so on a given copy it does not change.
Where the Desert Eagle | Mint Fan came from
The Ascent Collection was released on March 31, 2025, and the Desert Eagle | Mint Fan has been in the set from the start. Valve's note on that update names three new collections for the weekly reward: Ascent, Boreal and Radiant.
What to check before buying
When choosing a Desert Eagle | Mint Fan, pay attention to the following:
- float: Well-Worn lies between 0.38 and 0.45;
- the slide edges and the trigger guard, where scuffs show first;
- name tag and stickers already on this Desert Eagle | Mint Fan.
All copies of the Desert Eagle | Mint Fan carry the same pattern. Between 0.38 and 0.45 the look does not change.
What the Desert Eagle | Mint Fan costs in Well-Worn
Here are the other wears against this one:
- Factory New is about four times pricier;
- Minimal Wear is about two and a quarter times pricier;
- Field-Tested is pricier by a few percent;
- Battle-Scarred is about a ninth cheaper.
This wear's share of the finish's scale is small: a band of 0.07 out of 0.60, about an eighth. Among the nine Mil-Spec Desert Eagles in Well-Worn, this finish is the cheapest. The closest above is Desert Eagle | The Daily Deagle, and the dearest is Desert Eagle | Sputnik, with a gap of many times before it.
Getting the Desert Eagle | Mint Fan
No CS2 case contains the Desert Eagle | Mint Fan. The Ascent Collection is on the list of weekly rewards for time played.
The alternative to buying is a trade-up: ten skins of the rank below produce a Desert Eagle | Mint Fan. The collection has five Mil-Spec skins, so a batch drawn from it has a one-in-five chance.
StatTrak and Souvenir
No StatTrak version of the Desert Eagle | Mint Fan was released. Souvenir copies can be found, but no packages existed for this finish, since those went only to tournament map collections. Such copies come through the Souvenir-O-Matic, which applies gold tournament stickers and a player autograph to a normal skin from the inventory.
Stickers and craft on the Desert Eagle | Mint Fan
The pattern is dense and busy, so a bright sticker reads better on it than a pale one: the dark brown base gives it a backdrop. Stickers in mint and brown tones blend into the artwork, while white, gold and red ones stand out.
Who this wear suits
The Desert Eagle | Mint Fan is a sensible buy in Well-Worn when:
- you want a patterned Mil-Spec Desert Eagle at the lowest price in its row;
- paying four times more for the clean paint of Factory New makes no sense;
- the pistol is for CS2 matches, where nobody studies scuffs on the edges.
If you want a clean pattern without worn edges, look at Minimal Wear: the paint is noticeably better preserved there.
