Description

The Desert Eagle | Naga in Field-Tested (FT) is engraved metal with a patina, where wear reads as age. For this wear the Desert Eagle | Naga is allotted a float of 0.15 to 0.38, which is 23% of the finish's scale. Restricted rank; the Deagle belongs to The Chroma Collection.

What the Desert Eagle | Naga looks like in Field-Tested

The body looks like aged metal: a gray-green patina over steel. Valve calls the pattern an engraving with a mythological motif, and a relief ornament of winding lines does stand out on the slide. The grips are dark wood with a round emblem, and a factory marking is stamped on the side of the slide.

In Field-Tested the metal carries signs of wear, and how visible they are on the slide and grips depends on the float. Wear is fixed at drop, which means the float of any given copy never changes.

Where the Desert Eagle | Naga came from

The Desert Eagle | Naga is part of The Chroma Collection. Valve describes the finish as an engraving on a mythological motif and captions it this way: a beast of Indian mythology and of the battlefield.

What to check before buying

A few points are worth checking before you buy the Desert Eagle | Naga:

  • float: in this wear it can be anything from 0.15 to 0.38;

  • the relief ornament on the slide and the wooden grips;

  • the name tag and stickers this Desert Eagle | Naga already carries.

In this wear the Desert Eagle | Naga covers a long band, 0.15 to 0.38, so comparing several listings pays off.

What the Desert Eagle | Naga costs in Field-Tested

The other wears, measured against this one:

  • Factory New costs more than eleven times as much;

  • Minimal Wear costs about twice as much;

  • Well-Worn is about a tenth cheaper;

  • Battle-Scarred is about a tenth cheaper.

The main price jump lies between Factory New and everything else. The two lower wears sit next to Field-Tested, about a tenth apart.

Among Restricted-rank Desert Eagle skins in this wear, the finish holds the middle of the row. Mulberry comes in slightly higher and Directive slightly lower. The top of the row belongs to Hand Cannon and the two Sunset Storm finishes.

Getting the Desert Eagle | Naga

The Desert Eagle | Naga drops from the Chroma Case. A contract for the Desert Eagle | Naga consists of ten skins of the rank below. If all ten are from the Chroma Collection, it has four Restricted finishes, so the chance is one in four. The skin itself goes in as an input toward Classified: AK-47 | Cartel, M4A4 | 龍王 (Dragon King) or P250 | Muertos.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The Desert Eagle | Naga has a StatTrak version. Souvenir copies of the finish exist as well, but no souvenir packages were ever released for it: those were made only for the tournament map collections. Such copies are put together through the Souvenir-O-Matic, which attaches golden tournament stickers and a player autograph to an ordinary skin from your inventory.

Stickers and craft on the Desert Eagle | Naga

The gray patina with its green cast makes a quiet background, and the dark wood of the grips adds a warm accent. Red, yellow and white stickers stand out against the gray at once, while silver and gray-green ones blend into the metal. For a CS2 loadout in a restrained, aged style, this Deagle fits.

Who this wear suits

The Desert Eagle | Naga in Field-Tested is worth buying for reasons like these:

  • you want a Deagle with engraving and patina, and a clean look is not a requirement;

  • you have no need to pay double for Minimal Wear;

  • the collector's Factory New, which costs more than eleven times as much, is not needed for your goal in CS2.

The finish has a StatTrak version, and the top of its scale is 1.00, so this skin comes in Battle-Scarred as well.
