Description

Battle-Scarred (BS) is the version of the Desert Eagle | Tilted in which the mint paint and the graffiti are scuffed the most. In this wear the floats run from 0.45 to 0.75. The skin's own ceiling is 0.75, so this wear takes up 40% of its range. The skin is Industrial Grade, has no case of its own, and arrived in CS2 with the Overpass 2024 Collection.

What the Desert Eagle | Tilted looks like in Battle-Scarred

The base is light mint, almost white in places, with gray smudges. Turquoise and light blue scribbles are scattered over the slide and the grip panels, while the screws, safety and trim are gold. The magazine is dark blue, and the underside of the frame is darker than the rest. Valve describes the skin as an aquamarine base scrawled over with graffiti from different artists.

In Battle-Scarred the pale base gets dirty first: the slide edge and the grip corners lose their mint tone. The gold on the screws is rubbed off next, and few bright points remain on the body. The scribbles lie on flat surfaces and stay readable longer than the base does. Dark streaks on the slide exist on new copies too, as part of the artwork.

Where the Desert Eagle | Tilted came from

Valve drew the Desert Eagle | Tilted, and no Steam Workshop submission exists for it. Its catalog number at Valve is 138. The Overpass 2024 Collection came out in October 2024, and the skin has been in the collection since release.

What to check before buying

Before paying for a Desert Eagle | Tilted, it is useful to check:

  • the float: at 0.45 the mint base is still distinct, while toward 0.75 it is scuffed across the whole body;

  • the gold screws and trim, where the listing preview shows what is left of them;

  • the name tag and stickers, which stay on the Desert Eagle | Tilted.

All copies of the Desert Eagle | Tilted share one pattern. For this skin the float number matters more than the wear label, since the band of 0.45 to 0.75 holds very different looks.

What the Desert Eagle | Tilted costs in Battle-Scarred

The other wears, measured against this one:

  • Factory New runs above six times the price;

  • Minimal Wear runs about three times higher;

  • Well-Worn runs about half as much again;

  • Field-Tested costs almost a third more.

Of the five Industrial Grade Desert Eagles, the Tilted in this wear is second from the bottom by price, and only Desert Eagle | Mudder is cheaper. Desert Eagle | Urban DDPAT costs about ten times as much. Night and Midnight Storm cost more than sixty times as much.

Getting the Desert Eagle | Tilted

The skin has no regular case. Copies arrive from tournament souvenir packages for Overpass, for example Budapest 2025 Overpass. A trade-up cannot produce it, because the skin stands on the lowest rank of its collection.

StatTrak and Souvenir

There is no StatTrak version of the Desert Eagle | Tilted. A Souvenir version exists.

Stickers and craft on the Desert Eagle | Tilted

Even scuffed, the pale base still leaves flat fields on the slide between the scribbles, and a sticker there does not compete with the artwork. The dark blue magazine and the gold trim are best left open. The contrast of the skin holds on them.

Who this wear suits

Buying the Desert Eagle | Tilted in Battle-Scarred is reasonable if:

  • you want the graffiti Deagle in mint tones at the lowest price this skin has in any wear;

  • the Deagle is for a CS2 build with stickers, not for the sake of clean paint;

  • scuffing along the edge of the slide does not bother you.

If you want an unbroken mint base, look at Field-Tested or better. That is a different float band.
