The FAMAS | Rapid Eye Movement in Factory New (FN): rows of painted eyes on pink-purple panels without a single scuff. The rank is Classified, the collection is the Dreams & Nightmares Collection, and the side is Counter-Terrorist. In CS2 it is a rifle with a fully painted body.
What the FAMAS | Rapid Eye Movement looks like in Factory New
The body is made of rectangular riveted panels. On the receiver they are raspberry-red and pink-purple, and toward the stock and magazine the color moves to blue-violet. Along the side, each panel carries a painted eye with an eyelid and a pupil, and some panels hold a bulging eyeball with no eyelid. The trigger guard is pale lilac, the grip lavender-white with a brown back, and the barrel and muzzle remain bare gray metal.
Factory New on this skin covers floats from 0.00 to 0.07. The dark eyelid outlines are still whole, so the eyes read distinctly. The edges of the carry handle and the outer ring of the guard are untouched.
Where the FAMAS | Rapid Eye Movement came from
The skin was proposed by a Steam Workshop author known as Sparkwire. The submission was called "Rapid Eyes | D&N | FAMAS" and appeared on October 19, 2021. He wrote: "Frantic are the eyes of the dreamer, what could they be seeing?"
The FAMAS | Rapid Eye Movement arrived on January 21, 2022, when the Dreams & Nightmares Collection was added to the game. In Valve's catalog the skin is number 1127.
What to check before buying
Before taking one, look at these points:
- float: every listing from 0.00 to 0.07 looks equally clean, and only the number differs;
- stickers and a name tag that remain on this copy.
The FAMAS | Rapid Eye Movement offers no choice by pattern as such. A float spread of only 0.00 to 0.07 leaves nothing to pick between.
What the FAMAS | Rapid Eye Movement costs in Factory New
The other wears are cheaper than Factory New by these factors:
- Minimal Wear, a bit more than two;
- Field-Tested, two and a half;
- Well-Worn, also about two and a half;
- Battle-Scarred, almost three.
The lower three wears sit right next to each other and are almost indistinguishable in price.
Of the seven Classified FAMAS skins priced in this wear, this one is the cheapest. The FAMAS | Djinn costs twice as much, the FAMAS | Eye of Athena two and a half times, and the FAMAS | Afterimage almost three times. The FAMAS | Meltdown is more than four times higher, and the FAMAS | Waters of Nephthys almost nine times.
Getting the FAMAS | Rapid Eye Movement
The Dreams & Nightmares Case holds the FAMAS | Rapid Eye Movement, and no other case has the skin.
The second route is a trade-up: hand over ten skins of the rank below from this same set. Among the set's Classified skins it is the cheapest entry into a trade-up for a Covert skin, either AK-47 | Nightwish or MP9 | Starlight Protector.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The FAMAS | Rapid Eye Movement has a StatTrak version. There were no Souvenir packages for it.
Stickers and craft on the FAMAS | Rapid Eye Movement
The panels are densely packed with eyes, so a small sticker gets lost among them. Large solid stickers, black or white, show up at once, while pink and purple ones merge with the color of the body. The stock and magazine offer the most even space, and covering the side with the eyes would be a shame.
Who this wear suits
Buying in this wear is worth it if:
- you want eyes with crisp dark eyelids and intact panel edges;
- the rifle is for a craft in CS2, where a clean pattern under the stickers matters;
- paying a bit more than double the Minimal Wear price does not bother you.
