The FAMAS | Yeti Camo in Field-Tested (FT) is a winter camouflage on the FAMAS in CS2. Mil-Spec rank. The skin belongs to the Ascent Collection and does not drop from cases. The float scale runs from 0.00 to 0.70, and Field-Tested takes up a third of it.
What the FAMAS | Yeti Camo looks like in Field-Tested
Valve describes the finish as a blue-gray camouflage. The main mass of the body is white and light gray, with bluish patches scattered over it. The lower part of the receiver, the grip and the trigger guard are solid, in the color of dark blue steel. The barrel is silver, and the camouflage continues on the stock and the magazine.
Wear is set at the drop and in Field-Tested shows on the edges of the parts. This wear gives the FAMAS | Yeti Camo a float between 0.15 and 0.38.
Where the FAMAS | Yeti Camo came from
The Ascent Collection was released on March 31, 2025, and the FAMAS | Yeti Camo has been in the set since its release. At the same time Valve added it to the weekly reward list, together with the Boreal Collection and the Radiant Collection. The three sets hold more than seventy finishes between them.
What to check before buying
Before taking the FAMAS | Yeti Camo, look at these points:
- float: it decides how worn the edges of the parts are;
- the name tag and stickers this FAMAS | Yeti Camo already carries;
- the wear in the listing name: Factory New and Minimal Wear cost several times as much.
There is no choosing the FAMAS | Yeti Camo by pattern: it is the same on every listing. The 0.15 to 0.38 band leaves you a choice: the closer to 0.15, the cleaner the copies.
What the FAMAS | Yeti Camo costs in Field-Tested
The other wears, set beside Field-Tested:
- Factory New is roughly seven times the price;
- Minimal Wear costs about 2.6 times as much;
- Well-Worn costs almost the same;
- Battle-Scarred is about a fifth cheaper.
Among Mil-Spec FAMAS rifles in this wear, the finish is in the bottom three: only Teardown and Meow 36 are cheaper. The closest is 2A2F, with Crypsis and Survivor Z above. The top of the line is Doomkitty, Dark Water and Sundown.
Getting the FAMAS | Yeti Camo
The FAMAS | Yeti Camo does not drop from cases. The Ascent Collection is handed out as a drop for playtime: it is on the weekly reward list. For a contract on the FAMAS | Yeti Camo you put in ten skins one step below from this collection. The chance of getting this particular finish is one in five.
StatTrak and Souvenir
Stickers and craft on the FAMAS | Yeti Camo
No StatTrak version of the FAMAS | Yeti Camo was ever released. There were no Souvenir packages for this finish either; those were made only for tournament map collections. You can still build a souvenir copy yourself: the Souvenir-O-Matic applies gold tournament stickers and a player autograph to an ordinary skin from your inventory. That is why the odd souvenir copy turns up even where no packages ever existed.
The camouflage is light, so dark stickers with a clean outline read on it at once. White and pale blue stickers, by contrast, dissolve into the patches. The lower part of the receiver and the grip are dark blue and give an even field where a sticker does not fight the pattern.
Who this wear suits
Buying the FAMAS | Yeti Camo in Field-Tested is worth it for these reasons:
- you want a FAMAS in a light winter palette for the CT side;
- price matters: Factory New costs about seven times as much;
- you need a neutral background for stickers in CS2, and the light camouflage with a dark grip takes contrasting stickers well.
