In Factory New (FN) the Five-SeveN | Hybrid covers a narrow float band, 0.00 to 0.07, only 7% of the scale. The pistol is Restricted and drops from the Kilowatt Case. The skin was in the set from the launch of the whole collection, and it is in FN that its light ground keeps the pearlescent look intact.
What the Five-SeveN | Hybrid looks like in Factory New
Saturated violet stripes, lilac in places, lie across the slide and frame over a pearlescent white-silver ground. They go on in uneven strokes that thicken toward the middle, with ragged edges and thin drips. The slide is dark gray at the back, while the magazine and the bottom of the grip are silver. Factory markings show on the frame under the paint. Valve's description of the finish is short: a silver base coat and bright violet stripes.
Factory New has nothing to lose. The stripes are whole along the entire rim of the slide, and the silver on the magazine and grip is still even. In the other wears the white ground is the first to get dirty and the violet rubs down to gray; FN keeps the artwork free of those losses.
Where the Five-SeveN | Hybrid came from
The author of the finish is Pet3d, on the Steam Workshop. The Kilowatt Collection was released on February 6, 2024, and the Five-SeveN | Hybrid has been in the set since the day it launched. In its release note Valve calls the case a set of seventeen community finishes and mentions the Kukri knife separately, as a rare special item. The finish carries number 1168 in Valve's catalog.
What to check before buying
What sets one Five-SeveN | Hybrid listing apart from another:
- float, inside 0.00 to 0.07: the closer to zero, the cleaner the rim of the slide;
- stickers and a name tag already applied, which go to the buyer together with the listing.
The 0.00 to 0.07 stretch is short, so the difference between listings is lost in the noise. All copies show one and the same artwork.
What the Five-SeveN | Hybrid costs in Factory New
This is the most expensive wear of the finish by a wide margin. Minimal Wear is cheaper by more than three times. Field-Tested is cheaper by about six times, Battle-Scarred by almost seven, and Well-Worn is the cheapest of the rest, by more than seven.
Among Restricted Five-SeveN skins in Factory New, the Hybrid is priced below all ten. Next in line come Five-SeveN | Buddy and Five-SeveN | Boost Protocol. Above them stand Five-SeveN | Triumvirate, Five-SeveN | Retrobution and Five-SeveN | Copper Galaxy, with Five-SeveN | Neon Kimono at the top of the row.
Getting the Five-SeveN | Hybrid
One source is the Kilowatt Case itself. The other is a trade-up contract. Ten Mil-Spec skins go in from anywhere, and the result comes from the collection of one of them, so what you put in decides which set pays out. Making all ten Kilowatt skins is the player's choice, not a requirement. It narrows the outcome to the five Restricted finishes of the set, and the Hybrid is one of them.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The Five-SeveN | Hybrid is also offered with StatTrak. No Souvenir packages exist for this finish.
Stickers and craft on the Five-SeveN | Hybrid
In Factory New the pearlescent frame has no scuffs: a sticker lands on a clean surface and reads in full. The colored stripes on the slide remain the place where sticker and paint argue, so the even spot for artwork is the light area of the frame. In CS2 a craft built on expensive stickers holds its look better here than on a worn ground, since there is nothing scuffed under it.
Who this wear suits
Buying the Five-SeveN | Hybrid in this exact wear makes sense when:
- a clean light ground and whole violet stripes are what matter;
- you are building a sticker set that must not be lost under scuffs;
- a CS2 collection needs a Restricted pistol in the best wear, not the cheapest one.
