The G3SG1 | Dream Glade in Battle-Scarred (BS) is the widest wear of this finish on the scale: the 0.45 to 1.00 band takes 55% of it. As a Restricted skin of The Dreams & Nightmares Collection, it is dropped by the case of the same name. Buying it in this wear means getting the same artwork as in Factory New, with the heaviest wear.
What the G3SG1 | Dream Glade looks like in Battle-Scarred
The whole finish is dark green foliage that covers the receiver, the handguard, the stock and even the body of the scope. Toward the center of the rifle the forest parts and a bright turquoise-blue window opens: the sky of Valve's description. Small pink flowers are scattered over the stock and receiver.
Wear runs deepest in Battle-Scarred: scuffs follow the edges of the foliage and the rim of the blue window. The item receives its degree of wear at the moment it drops and keeps it for good.
What to check before buying
Choosing a particular G3SG1 | Dream Glade comes down to these points:
- the float: within 0.45 to 1.00 the rifle changes to the eye, so a listing is chosen by its number;
- the stickers on the body and a name tag, if there is one.
Copies of the G3SG1 | Dream Glade are told apart by wear alone, since they share one artwork.
What the G3SG1 | Dream Glade costs in Battle-Scarred
Of all the wears of this finish, Battle-Scarred is the cheapest. Factory New sits just short of five times higher. Minimal Wear costs about one and a half times as much. Field-Tested costs about an eighth more, and Well-Worn about a seventh.
In the Restricted G3SG1 row for this wear, the skin is in the lower part. Only G3SG1 | Scavenger costs less; above come G3SG1 | High Seas and G3SG1 | Stinger, the first noticeably higher, the second by more than five times.
Getting the G3SG1 | Dream Glade
The G3SG1 | Dream Glade drops from the Dreams & Nightmares Case and appeared in the game on January 21, 2022. The second route is a trade-up contract. Ten skins of the rank below go in, from whatever collections, and the collection of one of them supplies the result. A ten taken entirely from the Dreams & Nightmares set is the player's choice that steers the outcome, not a requirement; with it, the chance of this skin among the Restricted ones is one in five.
StatTrak and Souvenir
StatTrak is available on the G3SG1 | Dream Glade, but there is no Souvenir version of the finish.
Stickers and craft on the G3SG1 | Dream Glade
Dark foliage takes bright stickers: white, yellow and pink ones read on it, while green ones merge into the background. The turquoise window in the center works as a light accent, and a sticker next to it loses contrast. For a G3SG1 in CS2, this finish keeps a set in a cool palette.
Who this wear suits
Buying the G3SG1 | Dream Glade in exactly this wear makes sense if one of these applies:
- you want the foliage and turquoise sky at the lowest price of the five wears;
- the artwork matters more than clean paint, and wear is acceptable;
- a dark set needs a G3SG1 with one bright spot.
If the wear bothers you, look at Minimal Wear: it costs one and a half times as much.
