What the Galil AR | Galigator looks like in Well-Worn
The Galil AR | Galigator in Well-Worn (WW) sits in a narrow float band, 0.38 to 0.45, just 7% of the scale. This Restricted skin from The Dead Hand Collection costs almost the same as Battle-Scarred. A Well-Worn Galil for CS2 makes sense if you can live with the scuffs.
Where the Galil AR | Galigator came from
The finish runs in yellow and green: a yellow handguard with a radiation sign, a yellow grip, a green body with dark veining.
In Well-Worn the paint is clearly rubbed off the raised parts, and the yellow goes dull in places. The artwork is the same on every copy; wear is fixed at drop and does not change over time.
What to check before buying
Valve added The Dead Hand Collection to the game on March 11, 2026, and the Galil AR | Galigator arrived with that same update. The author is kenN, and the Workshop submission, "Galil AR | Galigator 2", is dated August 6, 2025. The finish's number in the Valve catalog is 1434.
What the Galil AR | Galigator costs in Well-Worn
From one Galil AR | Galigator listing to the next, this is what changes:
- float: the scale gives this wear only 0.38 to 0.45, so the copies look alike;
- pattern: there is no "rare" pattern to hunt for, because the artwork is the same on every copy;
- a name tag and stickers already on the item.
Getting the Galil AR | Galigator
Factory New is 4.6 times more expensive, Minimal Wear 2.0 times, Field-Tested 1.2 times. Battle-Scarred is cheaper by only a factor of 1.1.
Of ten Restricted Galils with a price in this wear, the skin costs more than Connexion, Control and Signal. Higher up are Firefight, Stone Cold, Orange DDPAT, Cerberus and Phoenix Blacklight.
StatTrak and Souvenir
A trade-up contract for the Galil AR | Galigator takes ten Mil-Spec skins. Where they come from does not matter: the result is drawn from the collection of one of the inputs. Put Dead Hand skins into the contract and you can lean the outcome toward that collection. Besides the contract, the skin comes from the Sealed Dead Hand Terminal.
Stickers and craft on the Galil AR | Galigator
A StatTrak version of the Galil AR | Galigator exists; Souvenir packages do not exist.
Who this wear suits
Scuffs give the background a grain, and thin stickers get lost in it. Large single-color stickers read better on Well-Worn. Next to the yellow handguard they should be either dark or cool in tone.
Well-Worn is worth it for the Galil AR | Galigator when:
- you want an inexpensive example of a Restricted skin;
- the look of the paint is secondary;
- the narrow 0.38 to 0.45 stretch is enough and you do not need to pick by float.
