Galil AR | Green Apple (Minimal Wear)

Minimal Wear (MW) sits in the middle of the Galil AR | Green Apple range, on looks and on price. Float covers 0.07 to 0.15, and since the finish scale never climbs past 0.30, the rifle exists in three conditions only. The rank is Industrial Grade; the set is The Train 2025 Collection, built around the CS2 map. Wear has appeared by this point, but it keeps to the metal edges.

What the Galil AR | Green Apple looks like in Minimal Wear

Green goes on metal and nothing else: receiver and dust cover, rail, rear sight, charging handle, gas block, barrel. Handguard, magazine, pistol grip and stock were left gray — bare factory plastic, not black paint. The fill is flat and even, with no apple gradient and no fade into red.

The difference from the clean grade shows on raised parts. Gray specks surface on the rail teeth, the sight ears, the charging handle and the lip of the dust cover. Flat sides hold their green in full, so from a distance the rifle still passes for new. Near the top of the band the barrel ring starts to lighten too.

Where the Galil AR | Green Apple came from

This is not Steam Workshop work: nobody submitted it, and Valve painted it internally. Its number in the finish catalog is 294. The Train 2025 Collection came out on March 31, 2025, and Valve's note ran the new sets as a list, giving this one a single line. The item text is a gag about an apple and insurance premiums.

What to check before buying

Three points decide a listing in this grade:

• float: nearer 0.07 the edges are almost clean, nearer 0.15 the gray specks on rail and sight are far more obvious;

• an earlier owner's stickers and name tag, which on a cheap rifle make up nearly the whole asking price;

• the type of listing, as Souvenir copies trade separately and cost many times more.

No spread exists in the artwork: the fill is the same on every copy, and lucky pattern indexes do not exist here.

What the Galil AR | Green Apple costs in Minimal Wear

Measured against this grade, the other two sit like this:

• Factory New is cheaper by roughly a tenth, although it looks cleaner;

• Field-Tested is dearer by roughly a quarter.

Nine Industrial Grade Galil AR finishes carry a price in this condition, and Green Apple ranks third of the nine going up. Below it stand only Galil AR | Acid Dart and Galil AR | Robin's Egg. Cold Fusion, VariCamo and NV hold about the same level, and the dearest of the group here is Winter Forest.

Getting the Galil AR | Green Apple

No case holds this skin. Ordinary copies were handed out for time spent in game, and Souvenir ones came from the 2025 Austin Major packages. Valve pulled the Train 2025 Collection from the Armory on July 8, 2026.

A contract cannot build the finish: a trade-up always returns a rank above the one fed in, and Industrial Grade is the floor of this set. The road back is open — ten Industrial Grade skins from the collection return one Mil-Spec skin.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The Galil AR | Green Apple has no StatTrak version, though a Souvenir release exists.

Stickers and craft on the Galil AR | Green Apple

Green metal and gray plastic give two separate fields to work with. Black and white play well on the green receiver, while the gray handguard takes any saturated color. Green stickers vanish entirely here. Edges already carry a touch of wear, so a craft is better built on the flats.

Who this wear suits

Minimal Wear is worth paying for in cases like these:

• a particular float between 0.07 and 0.15 is wanted;

• a sticker listing shows up that is worth taking whole;

• a slightly lived-in look appeals, with the flats still untouched.

The argument against is blunt: Factory New on this skin is cleaner and costs less, so there is no saving to be had. In CS2 the grade earns its place through a needed float number or a good set of stickers.
