Minimal Wear (MW) gives the Galil AR | Robin's Egg light signs of use. It is a turquoise Galil for CS2, an Industrial Grade skin from The Ascent Collection, and it does not drop from cases. It is played on the Terrorist side.
What the Galil AR | Robin's Egg looks like in Minimal Wear
The handguard, magazine, grip and stock are painted a pale turquoise close to the color of a robin's egg, while the receiver and barrel stay dark gray. The silver accents Valve mentions show on the front sight and muzzle brake. Smooth one-tone paint hides wear less well than a mottled design does, so even light scuffs read on it.
The float for this wear of the Galil AR | Robin's Egg is 0.07 to 0.15. That is 13% of the skin's scale, which ends at 0.60. The float is locked in at the moment of the drop.
Where the Galil AR | Robin's Egg came from
The finish appeared together with The Ascent Collection in March 2025. The data names neither an author of the Galil AR | Robin's Egg nor a Steam Workshop submission.
What to check before buying
In a Galil AR | Robin's Egg listing, you look at these points:
- float: to count as Minimal Wear, a listing has to sit between 0.07 and 0.15;
- the name tag and stickers this Galil AR | Robin's Egg already carries.
The skin has no pattern variants, so there is nothing to choose there. Across the 0.07 to 0.15 band the look stays the same.
What the Galil AR | Robin's Egg costs in Minimal Wear
Next to Minimal Wear, the other wears are priced like this:
- Factory New is 1.5 times higher;
- Field-Tested is cheaper by a factor of more than three;
- Well-Worn is two fifths higher;
- Battle-Scarred is level.
Among Industrial Grade Galils, this wear sits in the cheapest group, together with the Galil AR | Acid Dart. The Galil AR | NV costs a few percent more than it does, and the Galil AR | Cold Fusion about half again. The Galil AR | Urban Rubble costs almost fifty times as much, and the Galil AR | Winter Forest several hundred times as much.
Getting the Galil AR | Robin's Egg
The skin is in no case. The playtime reward includes The Ascent Collection.
A trade-up produces it as well: ten skins one rank down from the collection go in, for example the Galil AR | Grey Smoke. There are nine outcomes, so the chance of this skin is one in nine.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The Galil AR | Robin's Egg did not get a StatTrak version. Souvenir copies can be found, although this finish had no Souvenir packages, since those were limited to the tournament map collections. They are made with the Souvenir-O-Matic, which adds gold tournament stickers and a player autograph to a regular inventory skin.
Stickers and craft on the Galil AR | Robin's Egg
The dark receiver takes light stickers well: white, yellow and pink contrast with it. On the turquoise parts, light-blue and green ones get lost. With two colors on the body, you can choose which background a sticker sits on.
Who this wear suits
Minimal Wear is worth buying for the Galil AR | Robin's Egg if at least one of these fits:
- you want a turquoise Galil for CS2 with nearly even paint;
- Factory New is not worth one and a half times the price to you, but pronounced wear is unwelcome;
- you are choosing within the narrow band of 0.07 to 0.15, where listings are almost identical.
