Glock-18 | Dragon Tattoo (Factory New)

The Glock-18 | Dragon Tattoo in Factory New (FN) is a Restricted skin from the Arms Deal Collection: a terrorist-side Glock with a dragon on a metal base. The finish has only two wears, and Factory New takes nearly its whole scale. It drops from the CS:GO Weapon Case, and the skin comes in both wears.

What the Glock-18 | Dragon Tattoo looks like in Factory New

By Valve's description, a dragon decal is applied over a metallic base paint. The finish carries a quote: "In a fairy tale the knight always slays the dragon... but this is the real world", signed Valeria Jenner, Revolutionary.

The Factory New range of the Glock-18 | Dragon Tattoo lies between 0.00 and 0.07. The skin's scale ends at 0.08, so Factory New covers seven eighths of all floats, and Minimal Wear only the stretch from 0.07 to 0.08. Wear is determined when the item drops and does not change after that.

Where the Glock-18 | Dragon Tattoo came from

The Glock-18 | Dragon Tattoo appeared on August 14, 2013, when the Arms Deal Collection was added to the game. Its Valve catalog number is 48, which puts it among the first fifty entries of the catalog.

What to check before buying

Before taking a Glock-18 | Dragon Tattoo, buyers look at these points:

• float: from 0.00 to 0.07, where closer to zero means cleaner;

• name tag and stickers the Glock-18 | Dragon Tattoo already carries;

• StatTrak: the Glock has a counter version, and its price is its own.

What the Glock-18 | Dragon Tattoo costs in Factory New

The skin has two wears, and their order is the reverse of the usual one: Minimal Wear costs about a third more than Factory New. The Minimal Wear band is just one hundredth of float, from 0.07 to 0.08.

Among Restricted Glock-18 finishes at Factory New, this one stands level with Glock-18 | Pink DDPAT. Glock-18 | Franklin, Glock-18 | Brass, Glock-18 | Synth Leaf and Glock-18 | Fade cost more. Glock-18 | Nuclear Garden and Glock-18 | Ramese's Reach cost less.

Getting the Glock-18 | Dragon Tattoo

The Glock-18 | Dragon Tattoo drops from the CS:GO Weapon Case, and in that collection it is Restricted. A contract for it takes ten skins one rank lower from the same collection. The collection has three Restricted skins, the other two being M4A1-S | Dark Water and USP-S | Dark Water, so the chance is one in three.

The skin itself goes into contracts for the Classified AK-47 | Case Hardened and Desert Eagle | Hypnotic.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The Glock-18 | Dragon Tattoo has a StatTrak version. Souvenir copies of the finish also turn up, but no souvenir packages were released for it: those were made only for the tournament map collections. Such copies are made with the Souvenir-O-Matic, which puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on a regular skin from the inventory.

Who this wear suits

Buying the Glock-18 | Dragon Tattoo specifically in Factory New is reasonable when:

• you want a Glock from the first collection, with a dragon on a metal base;

• a lower price than Minimal Wear matters, since that wear costs about a third more;

• you are assembling a set from the Arms Deal Collection.

Minimal Wear costs a third more and sits right past the upper edge of Factory New.
