Description

The Glock-18 | Franklin in Factory New (FN) is a pistol covered in hundred-dollar bills, and not one of them is scuffed yet. Floats for this wear sit between 0.00 and 0.07. The rank is Restricted, and the pistol belongs to the Havoc Collection.

What the Glock-18 | Franklin looks like in Factory New

The pistol looks wrapped in hydrographic film printed with American hundred-dollar bills: slide, frame and grip are built from banknotes laid over one another. Franklin's portrait can be made out on each one, and the number 100 shows on the grip. The palette is muted, with pale greens and grays on a cream-white ground and no bright spots. The barrel at the muzzle stays bright metal.

The design is the same on every surface, and there is no single large picture. Valve's caption for the finish says that money does not talk, it kills.

Factory New carries no wear, so the edges of the bills, the numerals and the portraits all read in full. In the lower wears, scuffs lie over the small-scale print.

Where the Glock-18 | Franklin came from

The Havoc Collection came out on December 3, 2020, and the Glock-18 | Franklin has been in the set from the start. By Valve's description, the design is hydrographic, made from American hundred-dollar bills.

What to check before buying

Before buying the Glock-18 | Franklin, look at the following:

  • the float: the wear band is short, and the difference inside it is minimal;

  • the slide edges and the grip, where scuffs on the small bill print show up first;

  • the name tag and stickers this Glock-18 | Franklin already carries.

The pattern index changes nothing on the Glock-18 | Franklin. There is hardly anything to choose by float, because the stretch from 0.00 to 0.07 is short. The finish's scale stops at 0.40, so Factory New takes up 18% of it, and Battle-Scarred does not exist for this finish at all.

What the Glock-18 | Franklin costs in Factory New

The other wears set against this one:

  • Minimal Wear is about 1.2 times cheaper;

  • Field-Tested is also about 1.2 times cheaper;

  • Well-Worn is about 1.1 times cheaper.

The spread between wears is small. The clean look costs only a fifth more than the cheapest wear.

Among Restricted Glocks in Factory New, this finish is fourth from the top of the rank. Above it stand Glock-18 | Brass, Synth Leaf and Fade. The nearest ones below, Pink DDPAT and Dragon Tattoo, cost about a sixth less.

Getting the Glock-18 | Franklin

The Glock-18 | Franklin is not in any case.

The alternative to buying is a trade-up: ten skins one rank lower from the same set yield a Glock-18 | Franklin. The Havoc Collection holds three Restricted skins, so the odds are one in three. The skin itself goes in as an input toward Classified: AWP | Silk Tiger or MAC-10 | Hot Snakes.

StatTrak and Souvenir

No StatTrak version of the Glock-18 | Franklin was ever released. Souvenir copies do turn up, but there were never souvenir packages for this finish, since those were made only for the tournament map collections. Such copies are built through the Souvenir-O-Matic, which puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on an ordinary skin from your inventory.

Stickers and craft on the Glock-18 | Franklin

The background is built from small bills, so fine graphics get lost on it, while colored stickers stand out at once against the pale gray-green. Free spots are on the grip and on the side of the frame. The finish has no bright patch, which is why in a CS2 craft it takes almost any palette.

Who this wear suits

Buying the Glock-18 | Franklin in Factory New makes sense under these conditions:

  • you want an untouched design where the numerals and portraits on the bills read in full;

  • a conspicuous money finish matters for a Glock in CS2;

  • paying about 1.2 times more than for Minimal Wear does not bother you.

The finish's scale stops at 0.40, so it comes in four wears, and Factory New is the top one.
