The Glock-18 | Ocean Topo in Field-Tested (FT) sits in the middle of the wear scale and is the cheapest wear of the skin. It is Industrial Grade, from The Ascent Collection. The float of this wear runs from 0.15 to 0.38.
What the Glock-18 | Ocean Topo looks like in Field-Tested
The skin is blue almost throughout: the slide, frame and grip carry a saturated color, dark in places. Contour lines lie over it, like those on a height map. They are slightly lighter and slightly darker than the base and close into elongated rings. On the grip the rings cross the factory checkering, and the density of the pattern is the same across the whole pistol.
In Field-Tested (FT) the slide edge and the raised parts of the grip are already lighter, and the contour there crumbles into solid blue. The band of 0.15 to 0.38 is wide enough that at one end the edge is almost clean and at the other badly scuffed.
Where the Glock-18 | Ocean Topo came from
There is no Steam Workshop submission behind this skin: Valve drew all of it. It came out in March 2025, when The Ascent Collection was added to the game. Its number in Valve's catalog is 1265. By finish type it is hydrographic, with the pattern transferred to the body on film.
What to check before buying
What matters when buying a Glock-18 | Ocean Topo:
- stickers and a name tag already on this copy of the Glock-18 | Ocean Topo;
- float: nearer 0.38 the slide edge merges into plain blue;
- the raised parts of the grip, where wear shows first.
The stretch of 0.15 to 0.38 is long on the Glock-18 | Ocean Topo, and copies at the two ends look noticeably different.
Pattern variance on the Glock-18 | Ocean Topo
Hydrographic film lies on with an offset, so the lines fall differently on each copy: the rings on the slide and frame do not stand in the same places. After float, that is the second reason to compare listings. Go by the listing preview.
What the Glock-18 | Ocean Topo costs in Field-Tested
This is the cheapest wear of the skin, and all the others cost more:
- Factory New costs nearly triple;
- Minimal Wear costs double;
- Well-Worn costs roughly half again as much;
- Battle-Scarred costs nearly triple, too.
Among Industrial Grade Glocks in Field-Tested, this skin is the cheapest of all. The nearest, Glock-18 | Death Rattle, costs more than twice as much. Glock-18 | Night and Glock-18 | Red Tire cost fifteen times as much, Glock-18 | Sand Dune eighty times, and Glock-18 | Groundwater a hundred and fifty.
Getting the Glock-18 | Ocean Topo
You cannot open a Glock-18 | Ocean Topo from a case, because it is in none of them. The Ascent Collection is, however, on the reward list of the weekly care package. A trade-up also yields the skin: ten skins one rank lower, all from a single collection.
StatTrak and Souvenir
StatTrak was never released for the Glock-18 | Ocean Topo. Souvenir copies are out there, though the finish had no souvenir packages of its own, as those were limited to tournament map collections. The Souvenir-O-Matic turns an ordinary inventory skin into one, adding gold tournament stickers and a player autograph.
Stickers and craft on the Glock-18 | Ocean Topo
There is no free area on the slide, because the lines run unbroken. The most even spot is the side of the frame above the trigger guard, where the rings are larger. White and orange stickers read over the pattern, while blue and teal ones merge with it. Any sticker covers part of the lines, since this design has no spot without pattern.
Who this wear suits
Buying the Glock-18 | Ocean Topo in this wear specifically makes sense when:
- you want a blue Glock for CS2 at the lowest price among all five wears;
- you pick the pattern by preview and scuffed edges do not bother you;
- you choose float precisely, and the range of 0.15 to 0.38 gives you something to choose from.
In CS2 the scuffs on a Field-Tested copy sit along the edges, while the main field of the slide stays blue with its rings.
