Description

The Glock-18 | Ocean Topo in Minimal Wear (MW) shows light scuffing on the edges while the pattern stays whole. It is an Industrial Grade skin from The Ascent Collection, for CS2. The float of this wear runs from 0.07 to 0.15.

What the Glock-18 | Ocean Topo looks like in Minimal Wear

The slide, frame and grip are a saturated blue, shading in places to dark blue. The contour lines are tone on tone, slightly lighter and slightly darker than the base, so the Glock reads as a single color. The rings close without breaks, follow the shapes of the parts, and run under the checkering on the grip. The muzzle and the bottom of the magazine are left as bare metal.

Minimal Wear sits close to factory condition: the raised parts of the grip and the edge of the slide are only starting to lighten. The lines are still distinct there, and they begin to merge into plain blue later. In this band, wear shows only on the edges of the parts.

Where the Glock-18 | Ocean Topo came from

Valve drew the Glock-18 | Ocean Topo itself, and it was never offered through the Steam Workshop. The Ascent Collection was released in March 2025, and the skin has been in the set since launch. Its number in Valve's catalog is 1265. The finish is hydrographic: the pattern is transferred to the body on film.

What to check before buying

Before paying for a Glock-18 | Ocean Topo, it is worth checking:

  • the name tag and stickers this Glock-18 | Ocean Topo already carries;

  • the float inside 0.07 to 0.15, which is about 13% of the skin's scale;

  • how the lines sit on the slide, which differs from copy to copy.

Within 0.07 to 0.15 there is not enough spread to hunt for a better copy by float.

Pattern variance on the Glock-18 | Ocean Topo

The pattern is a draw: the hydrographic film is laid on with an offset, so the lines land differently on each copy. The same float number gives different pictures. That is why in Minimal Wear, where float decides almost nothing, listings should be compared by where the rings sit.

What the Glock-18 | Ocean Topo costs in Minimal Wear

The wears line up against Minimal Wear like this:

  • Factory New costs about a third more;

  • Field-Tested costs half as much;

  • Well-Worn costs about a quarter less;

  • Battle-Scarred costs about a third more.

Among Industrial Grade Glocks in Minimal Wear, the skin sits in the lower part of the ladder. Glock-18 | Death Rattle and Glock-18 | High Beam are cheaper, and nearly level. Glock-18 | Red Tire costs eleven times as much, Glock-18 | Night twenty-five times, Glock-18 | Groundwater almost ninety times, and Glock-18 | Sand Dune a hundred and seventy.

Getting the Glock-18 | Ocean Topo

The skin does not drop from cases. The Ascent Collection is handed out as a weekly reward, and the pistol comes from there. To trade up into the Glock-18 | Ocean Topo, you put in ten skins one rank lower from the same collection.

StatTrak and Souvenir

There is no StatTrak version of the Glock-18 | Ocean Topo. Souvenir copies exist, but this finish never had souvenir packages: those were made only for the map tournament collections. Such copies are assembled in the Souvenir-O-Matic, which puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on a regular skin from the inventory.

Stickers and craft on the Glock-18 | Ocean Topo

The slide is densely covered with rings, so every sticker lands right on the pattern. White and orange look best because they do not repeat the base color. Blue stickers with artwork merge in, and the outline is lost.

Who this wear suits

Buying the Glock-18 | Ocean Topo in this wear makes sense if:

  • you want a blue Glock for CS2 with nearly intact edges;

  • comparing how the rings sit across listings matters more to you than float;

  • Factory New costs a third more, and you do not want to overpay for it.

Between Minimal Wear and Factory New the price gap is about a third, and between Minimal Wear and Field-Tested it is twofold.
