Description

The Glock-18 | Snack Attack in Field-Tested (FT) is a pistol with fast-food figures that seem frozen in resin. The float band for this wear reaches from 0.15 up to 0.38. The skin is Classified rank, belongs to The Operation Riptide Collection, and drops from the Operation Riptide Case.

What the Glock-18 | Snack Attack looks like in Field-Tested

The finish imitates fast-food trinkets cast in resin. The base is smoky and dark, brown-violet and translucent in look, and in it hang mascot figures with eyes in red, yellow and orange tones. The front sight, rear sight and curved trigger are yellow.

The figures cover the slide, frame and grip, and the artwork has no single center. Valve's caption is a slogan about a snack that hits back. There is no lettering on the pistol itself.

In Field-Tested, scuffs show along the edges of the slide. The figures are small and dense, so the artwork is the same across the whole run, with no large standalone details.

Where the Glock-18 | Snack Attack came from

The Operation Riptide Collection was released on September 22, 2021, and the Glock-18 | Snack Attack has been in the set since release.

What to check before buying

Before buying the Glock-18 | Snack Attack, look at these points:

  • the float, which decides how much is scuffed along the edges of the slide;

  • the yellow front sight, rear sight and trigger: on bright parts, scuffs show at once;

  • the stickers and name tag already on this copy of the Glock-18 | Snack Attack.

The same artwork is printed on every copy in the run. The choice here is made within 0.15 to 0.38, and the difference between the top and bottom of that stretch is noticeable. It takes up 23% of the finish's scale.

What the Glock-18 | Snack Attack costs in Field-Tested

Compared with Field-Tested, the other wears come to:

  • Factory New costs about 5.3 times as much;

  • Minimal Wear costs twice as much;

  • Well-Worn costs about 10% less;

  • Battle-Scarred costs about 15% less.

Among Classified Glocks in this wear the finish sits mid-rank: three skins cost less and three cost more. Glock-18 | Vogue, Glock-18 | Shinobu and Glock-18 | Mirror Mosaic are cheaper by a factor of three and a half or more.

Directly above are Glock-18 | AXIA and Glock-18 | Water Elemental. Glock-18 | Twilight Galaxy, at the top of the rank, costs more than ten times as much.

Getting the Glock-18 | Snack Attack

The pistol drops from the Operation Riptide Case, and no other case holds this finish.

For a trade-up to return the Glock-18 | Snack Attack, you put in ten skins of the rank below from one collection. The set has three Classified skins and five Restricted ones, so the chance is one in three. The skin itself feeds the trade-up into Covert: AK-47 | Leet Museo and Desert Eagle | Ocean Drive.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The Glock-18 | Snack Attack has a StatTrak version. Souvenir copies of the finish exist too, but no sets were issued for it, since they were made only for tournament map collections. Such copies come through the Souvenir-O-Matic, which puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on an ordinary skin from the inventory.

Stickers and craft on the Glock-18 | Snack Attack

The background is dark and mottled and the figures are small, so a sticker with a thick outline reads better than a thin one. In a CS2 craft on the smoky base, light stickers stand out most. The figures cover nearly everything, so there is little smooth space, and a craft has to be fitted to the artwork.

Who this wear suits

Buying the Glock-18 | Snack Attack in Field-Tested makes sense for these reasons:

  • you want a Classified Glock with figures in CS2 without paying extra for Factory New, which costs five times as much;

  • artwork of small figures reads at any wear inside the stretch;

  • the lot is chosen by float: at 0.15 the resin is cleaner, at 0.38 the scuffs are more visible.

Saving money by dropping down does not pay: Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred are cheaper by only 10% and 15%.
