This is the Glock-18 | Trace Lock in Battle-Scarred (BS), and here the skin has its longest float band: 0.45 to 0.70. The finish's scale stops at 0.70 and never reaches one, so this Glock has no truly beaten-up copies. It is a Restricted skin from The Achroma Collection, on the Terrorist side. In CS2 it is a light skin, and in the lowest wear it looks like itself in its own way.
What the Glock-18 | Trace Lock looks like in Battle-Scarred
The Glock is nearly monochrome: a white and pale gray base with a pearlescent sheen, and thin gray-black lines. Concentric circles spread from two centers on the slide, carry on over the frame and the grip, and gather into a dense zebra. Both slide and frame are fully covered. Up close the slide holds a few tiny colored dots, one red and one blue, and there is no lettering.
Valve describes the drawing as a gray pattern of circles under a holographic layer, and on a light base wear shows sooner than on dark finishes. In Battle-Scarred the edge of the slide and the ridges of the grip are already gray, and the thin lines break up on them. The pearlescent sheen stays where the paint is untouched, so patches alternate with clean areas.
Where the Glock-18 | Trace Lock came from
The work is in-house: the finish was never on the Steam Workshop. It came out on January 21, 2026. Valve's note on that update is short: two new sets, Harlequin and Achroma, were added to the weekly reward list. The finish's number in Valve's catalog is 1357.
What to check before buying
For a listing in this wear, it is worth comparing:
- float: the band here runs 0.45 to 0.70, and a copy at 0.46 is visibly cleaner than one at 0.69;
- drawing: it varies on this finish, more in the block below;
- stickers and a name tag already on this Glock-18 | Trace Lock.
Pattern variance on the Glock-18 | Trace Lock
The pattern index shifts how the drawing is laid on: the circles on the slide sit slightly differently from copy to copy. The source names no rare variants, so there is no surcharge for "the" pattern. Still, after float, this is the second parameter by which listings differ to the eye.
What the Glock-18 | Trace Lock costs in Battle-Scarred
Factory New costs a bit more than six times as much, and Minimal Wear a little over twice as much. Field-Tested and Well-Worn are only a sixth and a tenth more. This is the cheapest band of the five, and its length, 0.25 out of 0.70, gives a wide choice.
Among Restricted Glocks, this skin in Battle-Scarred costs almost the same as Moonrise, more than Block-18 and Umbral Rabbit, while Weasel costs about one and a half times as much. To Brass and Synth Leaf the gap is orders of magnitude.
Getting the Glock-18 | Trace Lock
The skin has no case. The Achroma Collection is on the weekly playtime reward list, so a drop is the main way such copies appear. The second route is a trade-up contract. Ten Mil-Spec skins go in, and the result comes from the collection of one of the inputs. Ten from The Achroma Collection only steer the outcome and are not a condition.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The Glock-18 | Trace Lock has no StatTrak version, and no Souvenir version of the finish exists either.
Stickers and craft on the Glock-18 | Trace Lock
The light base gives stickers a readable background: dark and colored ones show at once, while white and silvery ones merge into the Glock. The scuffs in Battle-Scarred add contrast, and a sticker near the slide looks like part of the drawing.
Who this wear suits
Battle-Scarred on the Glock-18 | Trace Lock makes sense if at least one of these fits:
- you want the cheapest way into the Restricted rank of The Achroma Collection;
- a scuffed light Glock, where wear reads as character, is fine with you;
- you would rather choose by drawing than by float number.
