The M4A1-S | Bright Water in Minimal Wear (MW) is the better of the finish's two wears. The lower edge of its scale is cut off by the skin itself, and float here runs from 0.10 to 0.15. The rank is Restricted, and the suppressed M4 belongs to The Bravo Collection.

What the M4A1-S | Bright Water looks like in Minimal Wear

The finish is blue camouflage from end to end, and Valve says it was applied by hydrographics. Dark blue and cobalt blotches are mixed with light blue and pale green smears. The color runs over the whole weapon, from the suppressor to the stock, the carry handle included.

The pattern is small, with no lettering and no focal point. In Minimal Wear the wear settles on this camouflage, while the overall blue range stays untouched.

What to check before buying

What separates one M4A1-S | Bright Water listing from another comes down to these:

• the float: the whole band of the wear lies between 0.10 and 0.15;


• the general look of the camouflage from several angles, because the pattern runs across the weapon with no central detail;


• the stickers and name tag already on this copy of the M4A1-S | Bright Water.

Two different patterns of the M4A1-S | Bright Water do not exist. Inside 0.10 to 0.15 there is nothing to pick a best copy from. The finish's scale runs from 0.10 to 0.22, which is why it has two wears: Minimal Wear and Field-Tested. Factory New, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred do not exist for this finish.

Only one neighbor is there to compare with: Field-Tested (FT) is cheaper by about a seventh. Minimal Wear takes 0.05 of the finish's 0.12 scale, a little over forty percent, and Field-Tested gets the rest. The finish has no better wear, so what the premium buys here is wear alone.

Among Restricted M4A1-S skins in Minimal Wear, the finish is third from the top by price, of eleven. M4A1-S | Dark Water and M4A1-S | Icarus Fell cost more, Icarus Fell several times over. The next one down, M4A1-S | Basilisk, is cheaper by about four times.

The skin drops from the Operation Bravo Case and belongs to The Bravo Collection; the finish has no other cases.

A contract for the M4A1-S | Bright Water is made up of ten skins one step down from the same collection.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The M4A1-S | Bright Water has a StatTrak version. No Souvenir packages were ever made for this finish, because packages only covered tournament map collections. A souvenir copy can still be built by hand: the Souvenir-O-Matic puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on a normal skin from the inventory. That is why the odd souvenir copy turns up where no package ever existed.

Stickers and craft on the M4A1-S | Bright Water

The camouflage has no central detail, so a sticker fits on either side of the weapon and covers nothing important. The mottled background does swallow thin outlines. Large dark and white marks read better on the blue than small ones.

Who this wear suits

The M4A1-S | Bright Water in Minimal Wear makes sense under these conditions:

• you want blue camouflage on the suppressed M4 for a CS2 loadout;


• the narrow 0.10 to 0.15 band suits you, as copies differ little within it;


• you want the better of the two available wears, since nothing sits above Minimal Wear on this finish.

In CS2, Minimal Wear and Field-Tested differ only in looks: wear has no effect on shooting.
