Battle-Scarred (BS) is the lowest of the five wears of the M4A1-S | Chantico's Fire, a Covert rifle, and it costs 1.06 times as much as Well-Worn. The skin belongs to The Chroma 3 Collection. In this wear its float band is 0.45 to 0.99.

What the M4A1-S | Chantico's Fire looks like in Battle-Scarred

Yellow lines outline each part, and between them lies a red ornament with pink and orange inserts. The suppressor runs in a series of red and yellow rings, and the stock is red and orange. Only part of the barrel stays dark, with a red ring on it.

For this M4A1-S, the float number matters more than the wear label: the stretch from 0.45 to 0.99 holds a range of looks. That is 0.54 of the 0.99 scale, more than half. Wear reads most clearly where the yellow outline runs along the edges of the parts.
