M4A1-S | Chantico's Fire in Field-Tested (FT): a yellow-and-red Covert M4A1-S that costs almost the same as Minimal Wear. The float for this wear runs from 0.15 to 0.38, which is almost a quarter of the scale, since the skin as a whole spans 0.00 to 0.99. The collection in question is the one tied to the Chroma 3 Case.
What the M4A1-S | Chantico's Fire looks like in Field-Tested
Every part is outlined in yellow, and inside lies a thick red fill with ornament and pink and orange blotches. The suppressor runs in red-and-yellow stripes, and the barrel is dark with a red ring. Apart from that dark barrel, the finish has almost no other colors.
In Field-Tested the wear is already visible, and the yellow outline dulls first along the edges. Across the stretch from 0.15 to 0.38 the scuffing on this M4A1-S builds up noticeably.
What to check before buying
Before buying an M4A1-S | Chantico's Fire, check the following:
- the float: near 0.15 the yellow outlines are almost even, and toward 0.38 they are visibly worn;
- the edges of the suppressor, handguard and receiver, where the outline comes off first;
- the name tag and stickers this M4A1-S | Chantico's Fire already carries.
There is no choosing by pattern on this M4A1-S, because it is the same on every listing.
What the M4A1-S | Chantico's Fire costs in Field-Tested
The other wears relative to this one:
- Factory New costs almost twice as much;
- Minimal Wear is level;
- Well-Worn is cheaper by about a tenth;
- Battle-Scarred is cheaper by about seven percent.
The three lower wears differ by a few percent. A noticeable gap exists only to Factory New, even though Field-Tested takes almost a quarter of the scale.
Among Covert M4A1-S in this wear, the skin costs more than five others. M4A1-S | Hyper Beast is level with it, and Mecha Industries is a little cheaper. Above come M4A1-S | Printstream and M4A1-S | Cyrex, about one and a half times as much. Imminent Danger and Welcome to the Jungle cost six times as much or more.
Getting the M4A1-S | Chantico's Fire
The finish comes from the Chroma 3 Case and belongs to its collection.
A route that skips buying is the trade-up: ten skins of the rank below from the same collection, with M4A1-S | Chantico's Fire as the result. The collection has two Covert skins, and the outcome is decided by chance.
StatTrak and Souvenir
M4A1-S | Chantico's Fire has a StatTrak version. No Souvenir packages were made for this finish, since those were produced only for the tournament map collections. Still, you can build a souvenir copy yourself, because the Souvenir-O-Matic puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on an ordinary skin from the inventory. That is why a stray souvenir copy occasionally turns up even where packages never existed.
Stickers and craft on the M4A1-S | Chantico's Fire
This finish has no background, because the artwork fills the whole body. Black, white and light blue stickers win on it, since red and yellow are already in excess. In CS2 builds, stickers with a thick outline are the pick, or they merge into the ornament.
Who this wear suits
An M4A1-S | Chantico's Fire in Field-Tested is worth buying if at least one of these applies:
- you want a Covert M4A1-S at the price of Minimal Wear;
- choosing by number matters to you, inside the long band from 0.15 to 0.38;
- a CS2 build needs a bright body with no empty spots.
If the yellow outline has to stay clean, look at Factory New, which costs almost twice as much.
