M4A1-S | Chantico's Fire in Well-Worn (WW): a bright yellow-and-red Covert M4A1-S, and the cheapest of this skin's five wears. The float for this wear runs from 0.38 to 0.45, about seven percent of the finish's scale. As for the collection, it is the one the Chroma 3 Case belongs to.
What the M4A1-S | Chantico's Fire looks like in Well-Worn
The base is a golden yellow, and a thick red ornament of interlaced lines and figures runs over it, with pink and orange inserts. The suppressor is painted in red-and-yellow stripes, the barrel between it and the handguard is dark blue with a red ring, and the stock is red-orange. Valve calls the finish hand-drawn in bright colors.
In Well-Worn the yellow outlines along the edges of the parts have already dulled, while the dense red artwork on the flat surfaces reads in full. In this wear the skin occupies a narrow band, from 0.38 to 0.45, and copies barely differ from one another.
What to check before buying
When choosing an M4A1-S | Chantico's Fire, pay attention to the following:
- the float: the band is short, so the number only refines the wear label;
- the yellow outlines on the edges of the suppressor, receiver and stock;
- the stickers and name tag this very copy already has.
All copies carry the same pattern.
What the M4A1-S | Chantico's Fire costs in Well-Worn
The other wears relative to this one:
- Factory New costs about twice as much;
- Minimal Wear costs about an eighth more;
- Field-Tested costs about a tenth more;
- Battle-Scarred costs three percent more.
The four wears other than Factory New differ by no more than an eighth. Well-Worn takes seven hundredths of the finish's scale.
Among Covert M4A1-S in this wear, the skin is fourth from the bottom. M4A1-S | Vaporwave, M4A1-S | Golden Coil and M4A1-S | Player Two cost about half as much. M4A1-S | Hyper Beast and Mecha Industries run level, and Cyrex costs one and a half times as much or a bit more. Welcome to the Jungle and Imminent Danger cost five and a half and eight times as much.
Getting the M4A1-S | Chantico's Fire
The skin drops from the Chroma 3 Case, and no other case holds this finish.
A trade-up builds the M4A1-S | Chantico's Fire from ten skins one step down within a single collection. The collection has two Covert skins, so the odds are one in two. The Covert rank also leads into a knife craft: five Covert skins turn into a rare special item. In this collection that item is a Bayonet, Flip Knife, Gut Knife, Karambit or M9 Bayonet.
StatTrak and Souvenir
M4A1-S | Chantico's Fire has a StatTrak version. No Souvenir packages were made for this finish, since those were produced only for the tournament map collections. Still, you can build a souvenir copy yourself, because the Souvenir-O-Matic puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on an ordinary skin from the inventory. That is why a stray souvenir copy occasionally turns up even where packages never existed.
Stickers and craft on the M4A1-S | Chantico's Fire
The body is thickly covered with artwork, and there is almost no free background on it. Black and white stickers stand out, while red and yellow ones merge with the pattern. For a CS2 craft, large graphics with a clean outline are easier to work with, since small stickers drown in the ornament.
Who this wear suits
Well-Worn is worth choosing for an M4A1-S | Chantico's Fire if at least one of these applies:
- you want a Covert M4A1-S at the lowest price among the skin's wears;
- the whole artwork matters to you, and the purity of the paint does not;
- a CS2 build needs a bright yellow-and-red base.
If the outlines should stay cleaner, look at Minimal Wear, which costs about an eighth more.
