Well-Worn (WW) on the M4A1-S | Decimator is the float stretch from 0.38 to 0.45, 8% of a scale that ends at 0.85. This Classified M4A1-S belongs to The Spectrum Collection and drops from the Spectrum Case.
What the M4A1-S | Decimator looks like in Well-Worn
A dark blue base, nearly black, covers the top of the receiver, the handguard and the carry handle. Raspberry-pink comes in from below and in front: the front face of the suppressor, the grip, the magazine, and the stock with its butt plate. The change between the two colors is soft, with no border. Thin turquoise outlines follow the ribs: the front sight, the arc of the handle, the handguard ribs and the trigger guard. There is no artwork and no lettering, only gradient and lines.
By Well-Worn the raspberry has already gone pale in three spots: the butt plate, the bottom of the magazine and the front of the suppressor. The turquoise outlines on the handguard ribs break after that. The wear is set when the item drops.
Where the M4A1-S | Decimator came from
Coridium is the author. In the Steam Workshop the work was titled "M4A1-S - DECIMATOR 2000" and went up on March 10, 2016. By the author's account, the finish is built around much of what he loved in the 80s. The skin itself appeared in March 2017, and Valve's catalog numbers it 644. Valve added the caption "Quiet retrofuturism" to the description.
What to check before buying
What to look at on an M4A1-S | Decimator listing:
- float: between 0.38 and 0.45, no copy stands out as the best;
- stickers and a name tag left on the M4A1-S | Decimator by a previous owner;
- the state of the raspberry on the butt plate and the magazine.
The artwork is fixed on the M4A1-S | Decimator, and price does not follow the pattern.

Among Classified M4A1-S skins in Well-Worn, this one is in the upper half of a row of twelve: seven cost less and four cost more. M4A1-S | Leaded Glass is a fifth cheaper, and M4A1-S | Party Animal a third cheaper. M4A1-S | Fatal Glitch costs one and a half times as much, and M4A1-S | Atomic Alloy almost twice as much.
Getting the M4A1-S | Decimator
The skin drops from the Spectrum Case. The Spectrum Collection, with this skin in it, came out in March 2017. Ten Restricted skins fed to a contract may return an M4A1-S | Decimator. The collection of the result is that of one of the inputs, and ten from Spectrum alone give a one-in-three chance, though nothing requires such a ten.
StatTrak and Souvenir
This skin carries a StatTrak version, but the finish has no Souvenir packages.
Stickers and craft on the M4A1-S | Decimator
The dark blue top gives light stickers contrast, while the raspberry underside gets on well with pink and white. The turquoise outlines suggest cool accents. For an M4A1-S in CS2 this is one of the finishes where a build comes together easily around two paints.
Who this wear suits
Well-Worn on the M4A1-S | Decimator is worth buying if:
- you want a retrofuturist gradient at nearly a quarter below the price of Minimal Wear;
- pale raspberry on the edges is acceptable;
- you have no need to choose by float, as the band is narrow.
If you need a saturated raspberry, look at Minimal Wear.
