Description

The M4A1-S | Electrum in Factory New (FN) is clean marble with gold, the accents still bright. Its float runs from 0.00 to 0.07. It is a Restricted skin, and the rifle comes out of the Sealed Dead Hand Terminal.

What the M4A1-S | Electrum looks like in Factory New

Green swirls run over the whole body with no repeating motif, and gold lines are laid along the edges, with some red in places. In Factory New the gold does what it was drawn to do: it catches light and reads as metal, not as yellow paint. That is exactly the difference from the neighboring grade, since by Minimal Wear (MW) the shine on the corners of the receiver is already muted. The marble green, meanwhile, looks equally good in every grade, because the stone texture hides scuffs.

What to check before buying

A listing for this skin comes down to two things:

  • the float within the band: toward 0.07 the gold on the edges begins to go matte;

  • any name tag or stickers already on the receiver.

There is no pattern lottery. The swirls lie the same way on every copy.

The band from 0.00 to 0.07 is so short that it is hard to tell one listing from another.

What the M4A1-S | Electrum costs in Factory New

Against Factory New, the other grades price out like this:

  • Minimal Wear is almost three times cheaper;

  • Field-Tested costs about six times less;

  • Well-Worn sells for about an eighth of the price;

  • Battle-Scarred sits about eight and a half times lower.

The premium buys one thing only: the shine of the gold. The marble in the lower grades looks almost the same, so for playing the extra money is hard to justify. For a craft or a display piece, though, it is Factory New that people take.

Getting the M4A1-S | Electrum

The skin drops from the Sealed Dead Hand Terminal, the only case that holds it. It entered the game on March 11, 2026.

The second route is a trade-up contract. You hand in ten Mil-Spec skins from the collection, such as USP-S | Silent Shot, and get back one Restricted skin. There are five Restricted skins in the set and the result is random, so the odds of landing the Electrum are one in five.

Building Factory New this way is close to impossible, though. The output float is calculated from the inputs, and hitting the top of the scale with a random trade is very hard. That is why clean copies are bought, and contracts are used for the lower grades.

StatTrak and Souvenir

A StatTrak™ version of the M4A1-S | Electrum exists. Souvenir copies of the finish turn up as well, although no Souvenir packages were ever issued for it, since those were made only for the tournament map collections. Such copies are built through the Souvenir-O-Matic, which puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on an ordinary skin from your inventory.

Stickers and craft on the M4A1-S | Electrum

Marble with gold is a dressy base, so calm stickers suit it. Black and white ones hold their shape, while gold ones merge into the lines on the body. Large stickers work better than small ones on this texture, because small ones get lost in the veining. For an expensive craft it is the Factory New version that gets bought, since the gold on it still shines.

Who this wear suits

Factory New is worth buying in these cases:

  • you want the bright shine of the gold, not matte accents;

  • you are preparing a base for an expensive sticker build in CS2;

  • you are collecting a showpiece, not a working rifle for matches.

The downside is plain: the marble looks good in the lower grades too, so a sixfold premium over Field-Tested (FT) is far from always justified.
